Savannah Monitor Unboxing

Recently received another savannah monitor. He/she was poorly packaged. The monitor looks really healthy so far.
So far it's been 4 days of having him/her and he is really curious and eating like a beast. I have a feeling he/she is gonna come around really well soon. I have high expectations on her socialization, he's probably gonna be extremely calm with some time.
I hope to upload a feeding video soon.
(SMALL CHANEL UPDATE) So I also received some stuff a couple of months ago but i've been somewhat busy. I'll try to upload them as soon as I get the chance to.

Haha thanks! Yes they do! This one likes to poop a lot in her water. She's almost double the size right now.

Yep they grow quick. You will need to get a 8ft by 4ft viv. That is a perfect size for them. You could go for 6 by ft but have 2 levels

Yes, not my first monitor. Bigger is always better with their cages.

Actually mine are pretty similar, little bit larger than wider tho. Right now im working on a big tall cage for an indicus and a bigger cage one for this girl because she's growing like crazy.

this is a female savanah Monitor. quick tips on sexing them. The male will have a bigger neck wider and more muscular. the female has a much smaller thinner neck. The male is more vibrant and more colorful. the female is more dual. the male will be bigger then the female full grown. the eyes on the female is bigger then in males. males have small eyes. also the nostrils on the females are bigger then in males. males have small nostrils. best of luck on your new girl.

Nice, I never really got into much detail about the all the characteristics for sexing them. I knew some but you showed me some more details.

dont shake haha the bite hurts only the first time and if you want hold it in my history with montiors savannah montiors are one of the few you can stick your hands around and wont even try to bite

Im like that, a little bit shakey at unboxings. Haha the bite doesn't scare me, wouldn't be the first one.
