Oxygen absorber packets that come in many dog treat bags. Dropping one of those in may help too?

Nice tip Jamie. Have a look at the Wine Saver vacuum pump. Might be able to get the last of the air out.

Or you could by a food saver machine for £20 with bags that extract air and seal the bag so all your bait is always fresh!

thanks for this video, been looking for this. Do you keep them in the fridge or just in the shed/garage.

In the fridge is best 👍🏻

After you put em in a bottle do you store in a fridge? And surely inside of the caster would go putrid anyways ?

obviously you will have to fill the bottle so less air ?

Yes, so worth saving smaller bottles if you don’t have as many casters normally 👍🏻

Nope, might get the odd floater but just skim them off and they’re good to go 👍🏻

Would old glass jam jars or empty sonubaits bait booster bottles be any good? Same principle but bigger opening to get them in and out.
@winningwaysbasics

Any air tight container will do the job 👍🏻
@phve2jh8

@@karlchaplin3437 Absolutely, I use old jam jars, others use old coffee jars. If you don"t have enough casters to completely fill your jar, cut some foam and put it in the jar before you fill it with casters. That way your jars will always be full to the brim, pushing all the air out.
