Gina Jamie he made his “debut” in “WITHOUT YOU( Chinese Ver.)” which was released in 2016, and then he featured in “Black on Black” in 2018. Those were the only times he was featured in NCT songs before WayV. I don’t think he even had a line in Black on Black!! And then, before NCT even DEBUTED, he was in SMROOKIES( search it up if you want idk how to explain it) in 2015!! AND BEFORE THAT HE WAS STILL TRAINING. Idk the exact number of years he trained but i would say maybe 2 or 3 years(?) don’t take my word for that though. So, in conclusion, he was with NCT for like 6 or 7 years but only had 2 songs in that time span. WayV has debuted and hopefully he’ll be featured more:))

Kun doesn't strike me as the kinda person who puts up with bullying or ugly nicknames, no matter what he shows us publicly (I know the young ones just tease him). The two of them have known each other for years, and he wouldn't allow Xuxi to call him that if it hurt him. Like you said, we wouldnt know, but I personally dont think Kun would put up with it, if he wasn't alright with it. Xuxi is such a nice person, and being malicious or mean doesn't seem possible, tbh.
