Wait wait wait, if you go back to the bigtoe part where he gave him the fancy hat he would do this "yeah, cool fancy hat animation". Turns out that is the same exact animation that the librarian did in riddle school 3. Once you give him the glasses he does the same exact animation and also does the exact giving animation.

There's something you need to understand about puns, Cap: You're not doing them right unless you feel somewhat dead inside after each one of them. You can't fully appreciate the art of the pun unless you feel that small part of you fade whenever you encounter one. :P Also, so help me if this game never explains the significance of Monkey Doll! the dial pad that was missing the three, the three should of still been push able because the actual button is underneath the three unless the button was actually removed and then you'd just need to connect the wires to enter a three each time you need to
