I made the decision to save the husband. Man I was clearly not thinking that time! I might be glad I never discovered that in my gameplay.

But the monk or the husband die even if there is no Mongol near them. The game was rigged from the start. I'd rather they gave us a third option to save both if you are smart enough to know how to do it. I chose the husband and man am I disappointed. How was I supposed to know they won't leave with the rest of the community and she will get sick and die? There are other survivor camps on the island that don't have a monk and they still manage to get by. They could also join the raiders or move to the southern Buddhist temple. This questline was so dumb.

Eh I’d say the peasants getting raided and pillaged, losing their homes and families, being enslaved is much worse than what Jin had to go through. At least jin was able to fight back

@@OGVade Jin was fucked over near constantly. Comparing trauma isn't usually a method I go through, but if it came down to it, I still argue he had it worse. Some paths in life are just arguably more difficult.

I think it has to do with them being able to detect you the guys that kick you out, well they already see you so it would be unfair if they detect you instantly because it would cause a softlock the other guys though, they detect you sneaking, and I guess the code makes those peasants count as enemies so that they are able to detect you what happened when you killed them? did it give you a game over? I never tried

@@alfieomega it does give you a game over, " a peasant was killed" and it also charges your ghost stance for some reason. The same thing happens in castle Shimura when you kill a samurai, except it says samurai instead of peasant, and it also says "Lord Shimura died" if you kill him. ( I was on my 3rd playthrough and curious what would happen)

You were kind of expected to think that she’d get sick since the monk wouldn’t be there. Also no, maybe other places don’t have monks, but they have alternatives to that so they live. Also, after saving Togo, they say that she can’t travel since it’s dangerous and she’s pregnant. The questline wasn’t dumb, you just had to consider the consequences of either choice.

@@progenlock7785 No, it's dumb because it instantly kills one of the prisoners. It is also dumb because there is another refugee camp not too far away to the south. She was moving pretty fast for a pregnant woman too. Did her pregnancy advance in a couple of days?

@@Player-re9mo you’re expecting total, absolute realism from a video game when no game has ever delivered on the realism, while maintaining the detail, that you want. What your asking for is impossible. Yeah the instant death is weird but you miss the point. There are consequences to your actions, always. And sometimes there is no perfect choice. The questline had a lesson and you just didn’t get it or don’t care about it

@@progenlock7785 lol absolute realism my ass. I just criticized it's lack of coherence. If someone is starving and there is food outside their home, that's bad game design, not me asking for super realism. If there is a safe location at a walking distance, but the character doesn't go there, it's bad game design. Also Jin is perfectly capable to transport the sick woman on his horse to a safe place with many monks, but the game doesn't give you the option. You're just defending lazy writing.

@@Player-re9mo 1. We don't even know how long the woman had when jin found her again. She might have died on the road while on horse regardless. 2. As mentioned, the roads are teeming with raiders and Mongols. The absolute hordes that appear would pretty much guarantee the survivors deaths. 3. characters do go to safe spots. The only reasons people remain in certain spots are either pride or they are incapable of reaching an area 4. Most of the food and resources we find is just for the sake of the player to progress their equipment. It would actually be bad game design if the wasn't food at all for anybody as the world states because it would be a detriment to the player, Otherwise, the game is pretty consistent with itself. Naturally there will be inconsistencies, but they aren't *that* immersion breaking

the perfect parry counterattack? it should be one of the first techniques you unlock in the game do you mean 2:22? cause I did the perfect parry, and you unlock a technique later called "terrifying perfect parry" which gives a chance for enemies to become terrfied and run away after a perfect parry I perfect parried (which slows down the game), and then the other person ran away it's really nothing special, or new, not a special move you can do or anything

that is the Sarugami Armor, which disables blocking and parrying and only allows perfect parry, but the perfect parry counterattack is super strong and you have three of it it is in the Iki Island DLC

Ghost is a great game, but honestly, it doesn't do too much for details I feel like 99% of stuff about Ghost has already been found and has been shared by other channels I have a few ideas left but that's it there isn't really much left to talk about

@@alfieomega I agree, but i meant i think the content you made for ghost was really well made and could also be used for other games if you'd want it to.

You can kill all the Mongols until you reach the main gate at Fort Sakai. As soon as you open the gate, you get ambush by explosives. You get captured either way, but at least this way you still have your pride.

@@dream6562 well then she deserves that...because all she did whenever you made the choice to save the monk she would bitch around about not choosing the husband AND SHE SENT FUCKING RAIDERS TO KILL YOU FOR THINKING ABOUT EVERYONE....when the monk is the only one keeping both her and the child alive with the medicine...she was selfish throughout expecting an outsider to choose the fate of her feelings over the people who need the monk more...down the line, he does not know her well so this was not really much of an emotional choice...plus she makes awful judgments of character...impulse af...look what happened to her arm

Me personally, I would choose to save the monk, since he would be able to provide the survivor camp with supplies and stuff to help them

you can gain more maximum resolve by completing bamboo strikes, and also increasing your legend of the ghost

it's 10 perhaps there's one more bamboo strike you need to finish, or increase your legend check Hiyoshi Springs, a lot of people miss the bamboo strike there

actually did check that one out a long time ago it didn't change since the release of Iki and Masako mentions "Lord Shimura brought the killer's head" which we know not to be true either Masako meant the main makers of the plan to kill Kazumasa were killed by Shimura and Tenzo was just some lackey who was able to get away, or more likely just an oversight by the devs because I can’t expect some throwaway line to be remembered and changed

@@alfieomega I think the clans made up that story to make sure Kazumasa's death was not left unpunished, even if they didn't find the killer, similar to how they made a cover-up story for clan nagao's archer that killed his own men (you know, they one Ishikawa tells you about in some of his questlines)
