In today's video I will be showing you how I saved this damaged MDF dresser from the trash. I don't normally work on MDF pieces, but when something has potential to be fixed, I do like to do so to prevent it from going in the trash. This piece is a combination of MDF and solid wood. The top, sides, and drawers are all MDF, the drawer housing and bottom skirting are solid wood. There was significant damage on this piece. The MDF had bubbled in several areas, there was a missing corner on a drawer, several of the drawer tracks had disconnected from the drawer, and the entire piece was covered in scratches and dings. I was able to repair all of these issues and bring it back to usable condition, as well as make it aesthetically beautiful.
I'm so glad I was able to save this piece and I hope it goes to someone who will use it and appreciate it for years to come.
If you enjoyed this video please give it a thumbs up, and if you didn't give it a thumbs down! Thanks for watching!
xoxo,
Holly
