Syndontis cats are commonly referred to as upside down catfish, even though there are only one or two species that are actually upside down. They have a strange habit of swimming upside down, so if that jet black cat is indeed a sundown I, it could just be normal for it.

Speak with the contractor, find out what the plan is for the ponds. Perhaps they save the ponds as part of the landscaping. They may even allow you to return to fish more. Their concern would be your safety-liability and possible vandalism. Show them your channel, you just never know how it could go.

You and Rob and other ones of your friends should’ve went there and everybody would take all the fish traps they own set the fish traps and would help net everything in there❤

You should use the really long nets that breeders use to go through their fish mud ponds

Great job Bobby. It's such a shame the developers didn't see the value in keeping the ponds, to enhance the beauty of whatever they are planning to build there. Short sightedness on their part, if you ask me. I'm glad you got to save as many tiny lives as you could, with a valient effort from both you and Rob, these last few months. You can deffinately sleep well, knowing you did your part in preserving lives there. Very proud of you.

I will say this has been one of my favorite spots you guys have been to, I mean just all the weird stuff this place brought, like the head stone, the boats, and of course all the cool fish, I mean you caught a red tail and just so many other cool fish, like this spot has been perfect for you guys, hope you find another place as good as this one forsure.

I think that the black catfish you caught is an Upside Down Cat also known as the Giant Upside Down Asian Catfish and sometimes they can get aggressive so be careful by the way I love your videos your my favorite KZfaqr

Love ur channel and what you do! Awesome...I noticed you can't seem to find a dip net that doesn't just simply bend or break after 1 or 2 uses! You should consider modifying a stronger one. I would suggest bringing the materials or simply your net or nets to any local machine shop explain what you want and the problems you have, and they would make you something that you can use a lot longer and probably be better! It may cost a few dollars but you'd save in the long run! Just a suggestion, keep on saving fish! Loving the videos.

A white Red Devil. Cool. The upside down cat is literally called the Upside-down Catfish, Synodontis nigriventis. While most cats swim along the bottom, these guys swim along the stuff floating on the surface. I think the leaf fish was indeed a Ctenopoma leaf fish.

Silver dollar fish are amazing I have 4 and talk to them every day. they actually come to the side of the tank and actively pay attention to me even when not being fed. And yes, they will watch tv so if you can, have a tv in their line of sight, lol
