I'm sitting here watching this and it is so sad 😞 😥 I'm 63 years old and crying about a Donkey that I have never met I guess it shows I have a ❤ but this is a terrible feeling I hope it all works out I'm not very religious but I'm praying for her and the baby stay strong Jami and Lester and of course the whole family this was a real tear jerker

Ivy we love you Sweet Baby, and we love Ivan too! I'm so happy to see you eating, that's exactly what you need to do! The stronger you get, the faster Your baby can come home! Your an amazing Mama! I saw the video when you first got Ivy at the Morrow farm! I was sobbing, and wondering, how in Gods name an animal could get in that condition!😢 I love the end of the video when she was running around full of energy, looking so strong, and healthy, and beautiful! Can you please tell us how you acquired her! 💗🤞🙏

We watch all of these babies in videos several times a day. How can we not get attached to them. They are like our friends we see everyday and we also feel their pain. Thank god you realized there was a problem and acted quickly. Let’s hope Ivan gets what he needs at Paw Paws house and Ivy gets stronger at the farm. I want to be able to see them back together again when it’s safe for both of them. We love you Ivy and Ivan❤️❤️

I cried so hard when L.E. had Ivan in his arms and hearing papa was going to be keeping him knowing how much Ivy wanted to be a Mom. It broke my heart hearing her cry for her. But I knew something needed to be done both of them looked so bad. God bless both of them please Lord place your hands on both of them and heal them. We are asking you in Jesus name. Amen 🙏

Watching this made me cry it is a mother’s instinct to protect and love her children and poor ivies heart is broken.. But I fully understand you have to do what you have to do to keep them both alive or try and keep them both alive I hope things work out I will be praying for them

Ivy's an old girl...what you did is likely saving her life. She may not know it, but we do. Great job Jami and Lester. Because of that decision, both Ivy and Ivan will recieve better chances at longevity.

Jamie - I cried so much watching this video. But we all know that they had to be separate for health reasons. GOD BLESS YOOUDEAR JAMIE & MORROW FAMILY FOR CARING SO MUCH.!! *Poor Ivy , She just doesn't understand.And Momma's Grieve when their Baby is not with them. I feel so bad for you too, dear Jaimi. Because You Are There With Her And You are Experiencing the grieving that Ivy has. I too am m So Emotional I understand a child taken from you. My ex husbands took my son when he was 4 years old IT WAS SUPPOSED TO JUST BE A VISIT. BUT HE MOVED OUT AND TOOK MY SON WITH HIM.. THEN AT AGE 27 MY SON WAS KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT. HE WAS CAR =#3 .AND HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO WORK. THAT WAS 10 YEARS AGO. AND I STILL FEEL THE PAIN!!

@@michellethompson5438 LE has said shes doing fine and getting better....I dont know why you people are so quick to judge the people that look after these animals 24/7...this decision wasn't taken lightly, and rather two happy thriving donkeys than two dead donkeys....chill, you see half hour a day, and in the time you've been following the morrows have they ever taken a decision for personal gain????

I’m so happy to see Ivy eating! Ivy just breaks my heart but as long as she keeps eating she’ll get better. Ivan is surrounded by lots of other bottle babies and PawPaw will take excellent care of Ivan. Thank you, Jami for empathizing with Ivy, she needs that!

Ooooh Ivy. I gave up a son to adoption 49 years ago. I still think about him. Yes, a mothers instinct is sooo strong. Prayers for Ivy and Ivan and to you and Lester for the strength to get them through.

I don’t think that Ima Jean and Beverly came over to taunt Ivy. They simply can’t figure out where Ivan went and that Ima Jean empathizes with Ivy and her loss. With all of the loving care and attention that Ivy will now get I pray that she gets stronger and recovers to full health.

Bless both your hearts Jami and Ivy. I was wondering if Ivy was checked for infection. I remember it being mentioned about afterbirth may not have all come out. Also since she has become so weak, if giving those supplements and fluids intravenously would help speed things up for her physically. Just wondering. We all are pulling for Ivy and Ivan. God Love ‘em.💞

I feel ImaJean was there because she knew something was wrong and to support Ivy. Beverly is just being by her mommy. I’m hoping with Ivy eating, she’ll improve in her weight, it’s the emotional side that she won’t get over, until she’s reunited with her baby boy, Ivan. 💔💔💔

This is definitely one of the saddest parts of farming. I feel for Ivy, I know exactly how she feels. Luckily she has all of you to help her get thru this. And just think of the end result when they get to reunite.

My heart is breaking for Ivy and Ivan. I watched LE'S video when Ivan went to Papas. The sound of Ivan's cry was the saddest sound I have ever heard. It made me cry and this video of Ivy made me cry. I am praying for them both. I hope that they both put on healthy pounds, ASAP so they can be together soon. Hugs and love to you all!

I believe that animals understand what's up. It takes a couple days, but they understand your vibe and your behavior with the extra attention she's getting. She knows you're trying to help her. @@kathylebarron9957 Because Ivan is taking nutrients from Ivy that she needs as long as he is nursing off of her. If they are together than Ivan with nurse from Ivy as should be but it is putting them both in grave danger with their health. 😢

I know that Hurricane Harvey was devastating to so many people, but that’s what brought you to Lester, and you and Lester are so good for all these animals, and I’m sure for each other as well.❤️❤️

I have lost a baby. In utero at 19wks. I never met my baby but I feel for Ivy. Her dream, crushed. Hopefully she gets weight on and you can still milk her days to come. I hope for a beautiful reunion with Ivy and Ivan. And hope she can still nurse when that time comes. Y'all are amazing and doing what you gotta do. Love y'all. 💞

@@amismomalways2398 I agree wholeheartedly. I'm also sorry for your loses and congrats on your rainbow babe! I have also since had my rainbow babe and a pot of gold babe (4&3 currently). My rainbow babe was born under 4lbs at 36.6wks and spent almost two weeks in NICU, I pumped from day one and dried by 11months. My oldest who is 13, I was only able to nurse for 2.5months, myself being 19 and no support, I quit. It's okay to supplement, both mama and baby's needs need to be met. Thank you for your comment 💞

I've never been thru this with myself or an animal. I would think the grieving process can lead to the demise of both mom and son if it goes on too long. As with Mother Meg, Shirley, and Freckles, you bottle feed the babies but the moms were still there watching. I would think that could work with Ivy. Papa could still come by several times a day ( while you are working) to feed Ivan. Of course with every female goat about to give birth you'd need everyone's help, but if Ivy can be with Ivan even though she cant feed him Id think she would have the will to live.

You have to do whats best. She will also read your emotions. I dont know if they are the same as horses, but I saved a senior. Id bring her in the barn a few times a day, fed her senior food and supplements, an alfalfa mix hay, and groomed her just for the calming effect. For her pure alfalfa was too much for her system. Took quite a while, but she slowly built back up. Grateful you all are working together to help both of them!!! 💗💗💗

That just breaks my heart to see Ivy going through such a painful time. You can clearly see her grief. I know it is for her andIvans health, but she only knows her baby is gone.

Oh my goodness this is so heartbreaking! Would it be possible to move Beverly and Ima out of sight ? Seems to keep Ivy sad, and missing her baby. This may be a harder job than you thought. Ivy wanted to be a mother for so long it’s hard to change the mind that has a broken heart. Sending positive and healing energy to you all. I know you all will do everything in your power to help Ivy. May the Lord work his miracles through your hands.

It makes me feel good to see her accepting carrots n eating through the heartache I feel like this isn’t her first baby she lost this is going to be harder for her then Ivan but hopefully when he gets eating grain n both healthier they can be reunited really seems like pig Trudy n Dixie feel her pain ivys a strong girl she’ll bounce back❤️❤️

praying for a good outcome, knowing that these things don;t always have a happy ending, Tell Ivy repeatedly that she will see Ivan, but she will need to eat and get strong. They understand more than most people realize.

I cried during all this video . It is so hard for Ivy she wanted to be a Mom so badly . BUT this has to be done to save both Mom and her son .. Bless you all for doing it and for caring so much ... we also care .❤️❤️❤️

I am sitting hear crying because I know the feeling. I can't have kids naturally but now I am a mom of 3 because of a surrogate. It is heart breaking to want something so bad and not have it. Hugs for Ivy.
