This game-play made me changed my mind a little about the game, at first I was really disappointed that they made bolt actions a recon only gun despite being what 95% of infantry men actually used in the war, and also the fact that it was so fast paced, this gameplay looks veri naice

i disagree about how to play the last two games. my playstyle is is semi agressive flanking at medium ranges. i always go positive most of the time with atleast a 2.0 kd. it really also just depends on the map

no audio spotting. no assault rifles. no op class. useable LMGs. effective anti tank gear for all classes. improved bullet speed for snipers. sounds like my kind of game!

Yeah but if you are roaming between flags and not capping them will not win the game, K/D should be removed from the game and only be personal. The play style in BF1 is fast as F*** if you are going for the flags.

I totally concur, was thinking it whilst watching then saw this comment. Pure cream Frankie, pure cream.

It's cause he's a immersive role-player, usually KZfaq gamers just play the game and do commentary. Frankie actually puts himself into the game and actually makes it feel like your with him on this journey if he plays Day Z or War when he plays games like Battlefield & when he's not role playing he's a amazing commentator.

Well Ik its a bit of a hard thing to understand but the comment on top of me is wrong to make some of his videos he asks the modders of a game to help him get the really good shots like in dayz, a great example is Running Scared, the beginning starts off with a tank killing pinky and him running. But still he makes great stories and he is a great youtuber

Assault gets smg's and shotguns, Medic gets Marksman Rifles, Support gets lmg's, and scout gets bolt action rifles. Plus, Battlefield isn't some realistic war simulator, it never was, so people need to stop complaining

Exactly! Like everything its about context... Most people forget about the colonial wars in Africa. In that context its perfectly fine. But half the character models in a European setting are black? I mean cmon. There were black units, notably the hellfighters and black french units (forget the name). But that was maybe a couple thousand (?) out of millions who fought on the western front. Its the typical PC diversity thing where they find a little historical evidence and totally run with it.

There's nothing racist about a white European country not having Black soldiers, if there were none in real life why do they have to be in the game? I understand America having black soldiers because we've Been diverse for a long time but i don't see why they had to make Germanys soldiers multiracial if Britain and Americas were

Yes to the latter. There were scopes in use (like this: www.efdrifles.com/images/323/323r.jpg), but not to the extent they are on here. Hell, WWII usage of sniper rifles wasn't so different, they were employed in much the same way and most of the rifles used were from WWI, so think of it like that. The worst part about this game is it appears nearly everyone has a submachine gun and runs around outside the trenches like it's fucking lasertag.

Well having actual realistic WW1 style warfare wouldn't be very fun for the Call of Duty crowd.

Glenn A I consider myself part of the "Call of Duty crowd". I never missed scopes in my WWII games, and their presence in this video I find a little too much. They could have been more authentic without becomming slaves to realism.

Glenn A I don't really mind the arcady gameplay. I'll take fun over realism in my action shooters any day, including those set in WWI. Point is, they can be thematically and dramatically loyal to the setting/era without having to enslave themselves to just sitting in trenches and mass-storming machine-guns, etc. They should mix and jazz it up, certainly, but I still want to be able to look at the thing and be like; "yeah, this is WWI in all it's epicness and horror"... when I look at this video I'm more like; "is this WWI or II? Is that weapon/scope even invented yet? Is it this widespread on the frontlines?" It just takes me out of the game I suppose. But then, I'm a single-player campaign kinda guy.
