Saving & Sorting Favorites in a List in SwiftUI (iOS 15)

In today's video we will be looking at how you can add favorites in a list and save them locally to your app. The main idea behind this is creating another list that contains the ID's of items that you favorite, then you compare the two lists and return the items that were favorited of course.

Great video! I have a quick question. How do I populate the list with my own custom things? I am learning app development and coding, so this question might have a really simple solution.

Would this work if the array was filled with Structs? I’m working on a project and set up the data structure first now not sure how to save to persistent memory!
