Wow, amazing work Soi Dog and Happy Doggo teams! The one thing that struck me is when she said they had spayed/neutered their one millionth dog, and to imagine how many dogs that had PREVENTED from being born on the street into horrible conditions. If you think about exponents in math, that is mind blowing! 🤯

Love this work, 'Sidewalk Specials' do a similar thing in South Africa, they spay and neuter, but also educate the local people on caring for their dogs. Some just don't they don't want the dogs or puppies, some cannot afford to feed their dogs, most cannot afford vet care, tick bite fever and skin conditions scabies,mange etc.malnutrition. Sidewalk Specials take the dogs get them better, but also get dogs adopted. I know you are particularly focused on spay and neuter for stray dogs to decrease the population, but its worth taking a look at a spay neuter day at Sidewalk Specials they do well over a hundred dogs each time. Plus they go back to check on dogs. Love it, they have such a hard life on the streets, plus across Asia there is lots of dogs taken in big trucks packed to the limit, terrified, taken to wet markets, slaughter houses where they have a slow torturous death, the dog meat trade is huge. Puppies cannot survive on the streets alone, glad to see they will be rehomed and safe.

I've been to Soi Dog twice and both times I took toys for the cats and dog coats. I enjoyed the shelter very much, that's the only good place on the island. Love the cats rooms and the puppies, they were so happy ❤❤❤

Thank you, I just love what you and Soi dogs are doing, and achieving. I read recently that Holland is the first country in the world where the Government and charities have worked alongside each other to neuter every stray dog and find them homes (albeit their numbers are much smaller than where you are). As always, education is the key. When people have the knowledge, they understand how important what you are doing really is.
