This is in my opinion the best song I’ve heard from you! Edit: I like it bc the general tone eerily fits me( not the axe murdering, but I like to think the events this is based off of is my mind and the dinner guests are different parts of my mind)

I like how this sounds sorrowful, but lighthearted, as Bad is fulfilling what the Egg has requested of him, and feels like he's protecting the server. The destruction is kept from his sight by the Egg's manipulations, so he sees it as good. It's like he's singing a song with a beautiful melody, but ignoring the lyrics coming from his lips.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you - to PJ for the phenomenal job she did of producing this tiny idea I stole from her into a full fledged song, to mx_Poth and Ioki for the flugelhorn and artwork respectively, and to all of you watching for the love and support. @@vegetableALT ajdfkjn yeah honestly it took a bunch of takes before I was satisfied with it. It was a really useful learning experience though, cause i spent a lot more time actually doing warmups and trying to figure out a better singing technique than just forcing the note out blindly :00

I’m so excited for both of the songs. Honestly, when you come out with new I’m just say all day waiting for it. If I could, I would be staying up till midnight to listen to your song when it comes out on Spotify, even though it isn’t new. Probs won’t be able to sleep tonight, but oh well. Keep me up till 4am I guess. Lol

When the last part started I couldn't stop imagining BBH waltzing with fake, ghostly version of Skeppy that The Egg made to somehow "thank him" for loyalty, but then when part "So who'll be your savior tonight" vision disappears, leaving Bad broken again and showing that The Egg doesn't really love it's followers and only shows them what they want to see. Amazing song, it puts beautifull images in your head :D

I was confused on whose perspective this was supposed to be from at the start, Bad thoroughly had me fooled. :') 0:48 I love that muted trumpet that comes in after Bscotch singing _so_ much. 2:30 And the violins and eventual buildup that comes with the big reveal is amazing!

Just wanted to say I was playing this while doing the dishes and my mom came in and commented she really liked your voice. She was also impressed with the instrumentation, especially when I said the flugelhorn was played by a real person. :D Definitely one of the most beautifully tragic songs you've made.

god, this song. there's something about this song, about your music that is just... i don't have words for it. anemoia is the best i can think of. when i hear this, my mind creates castles of imagery, the feeling that i should be anywhere but here. if there was a single music genre to be described as fantasy nostalgia on earth, this would be it. my words are an utter mess, but what im trying to say is that i love this. it is beautiful

I’m late to the party, but can I just say that this song scratches all the right spots in my brain? The melody, the instruments, the voice- that glorious voice. Something just is extremely nostalgic about the whole thing and I love it. It scratches my brain and it makes so so extremely happy.

Came back from the premiere, and let me just say, this was *INCREDIBLE* The lyrics and vocals were awesome, and this is great for being your first non-DSMP single. And it appears I've found a new channel related to music to subscribe to, which means more awesome stuff for me to listen to, so that's a bonus as well.
