How to dismantle the tricky part of the electronic board and motor from a Savox servo WITHOUT damaging it This procedure is needed to be done to see if the motor is burned or the electrONIC. board.

Thanks for this video. Had a loud squeal in mine from new. Turned out to be dry motor. Oiled up and good for now. Nice work on those hidden screws

Well everyone that have defective servos .. OPEN THEM and see if we can find an identical with this savox were looking for ...We might find a chepo servo and use its motor. look for size an position of + - poles !

Align sells replacement boards for their servos btw, unfortunately they don't sell the motors or pots but for brushless servos the motor burning is unlikely anyway.

I saw that you short-circuited three pins of the two integrated .... But which IC is it? Does this method work for any servant? I'm trying to find a solution for my CYS8218 servo that always stays accelerated. I made several attempts but all of them failed. Some advice? Thanks a lot.

My servo is barely moving. Tmaxx has new batteries. Any thoughts? Reverse doesn’t move at all either. Can it be fixed. What causes them to move so slow

Would this also work with a Savox 1290MG? I have damaged wire right under the rubber grommet going into the servo.

It will.. tried it myself, thanks for the info.. I think the hard part is going to be reinstalling the black screws! :) Any tips?

+Franco Escalante Con la polaridad invertida SOLO CAMBIA LA POSICIÓN ROJO NEGRO fo motor. Pero usted puede cambiar la dirección electrónica del transmisor

Ron Marsh there is only ONE way the gears and their axels go in .. if its not done corect the top cover will not close . Dont forget to greace them :)

+Filippo Mondio i really serched ... and i cant find any ...But i had a couple of damaged ones ... other was faulty at the board other at the motor and other gear problems... so i swaped the good working parts int one good servo ... :)

You may have a hard time putting that black screw back..need a magnetic screwdriver..

At the moment i dobnt know BUT I had 3 broken servos and i saw that all didnt fail on the motor section , so I saved a motor from a burned pc board servo. Ofcourse im searching , and as soon as Ihave news ill inform. aLSO IF SOMEONE KNOWS WHERE TO ... please inform here !:)

+Stelios Telixx looking also - would be nice to find a source as this part is relatively easy now. Your video helped me fix 2 but motors and or potentiometers would be nice to find for sale somewhere.

+osobogly Glad the video helped somehow... You gave me an idea .. The motor im shure isnt savox .. ( we know how the industry works with fason orders) This aint any special motor... some time i did swap it with a cheapy servo motor that was the same dimentions ....and WORKS PERFECT ! S ooo.. ill look into it ! :)

+Stelios Telixx - Great to hear - I purchased a cheapy over the last week and tomorrow plan to test a motor replacement into my very expensive high torque servo and I'll update on results. :D
