I was able to spend a day with a professional saw filer. Thank you for teaching me. Like, Share, Comment, Facebook.com/Hipstertactical Twitter.com/HipsterTactical

This guy is an artist!! I have done these over my years of sharpening! The old guys would bring these to my shop and say they didn’t want to pay over 20.00. It would take me many hours to get one right. I would just tell them to take it back home and put it in a wall. Like I said this stuff is an art and you pay the artist accordingly!!!

Great content but speaking as someone who's hard of hearing, it would have been far easier to follow what was being said if it wasn't competing with the music.

Took me four hours on a worn out bucking saw to do it all by hand!

Only thing I don't believe in is not to use any power tools at all! I'm of the beliefs that it will create low spots and mess with the temper of the steel alone with damaging the saw that is priceless!
