That was awesome! I'd love to work at a sawmill! I worked at a lumber company in the late 60's in Erie, Pa. as a young man and it was a challenge unloading boxcars full of wood when it had to be done by hand without gloves. My boss told me that's why we had Sundays off, to pick out the splinters! I'm retired now, living in NC and absorb my time woodworking in my garage mostly scroll sawing. We don't use wood any more for rail road ties they are now made of fiber glass and composite .a dieing business we still need to build homes though. Wood rots and composite doesn't
