@TAWZace It's called a Power Eater, a generator feeding a resistor load bank (a giant toaster). Serves the same purpose as a Baker fan or dyno, just gives the engine a load to work against. Has a timer circuit to apply + remove the load, to make the governor cycle. This sawmill crew works together commercially full time, and it shows. Good guys, too.

The bloke manipulating those logs through the blade sure does know what he is doing. The young fella taking the cut planks off the saw is not given any time to rest. Amazing that these antique machines are still putting in a real days work.
