oh yea that is steam power.i would guess most went for scrap during the war. same over here but more were built so more survived. they do comeup for sale from time to time owners die

The Amish don't deny all machinery, contrary to popular belief. They only refuse to use that technology which would take their focus away from God. They generally allow and use 19th century technology, though times have changed and they do allow some more modern technology in. Most Amish communities have a communal, public pay phone, and some will accept car rides from English (non-Amish) acquaintances in emergencies and certain other situations.
