After only seeing dropshipped watches branded with Australian cities and towns being sold as Australian watches, it really is refreshing to see an Aussie brand with original designs. Love to see it, well done guys.

Wow! $375 for a Sellita SW-200 is insane! And I like that caseback. I think the Aviator is the pick of the litter. And that clasp reminds me of the Christopher Ward clasp with their wonderful microadjust. This is sweet all around.

Burnt earth gives me a story. Like the person who wore it created the fade by constantly being in the Outback and exploring. Love it!

I think you should have placed a little more emphasise on the full grain leather watch case that comes with the watch. That's a pretty nice looking watch case and it's not that junk PU leather, this is real leather! I think that adds a lot of value to the price of the watch.

Definitely a great piece from Jason, he's also a great guy caught up with him last redbar in Perth!

I have a Pilbara diver and love it, not elegant, refined or sophisticated but it feels rock solid. The aviator on a bracelet is calling to me.

Nice specs. I think the dimensions are perfect. I love the convenience of drilled lugs. Minimal text on the dial is a plus. I’m not crazy about the burnt earth color but that’s just personal preference. The bracelet seems really nice and the micro adjustment is awesome. So many brands get that wrong. Overall I think they have a winner here.

The one with the mummy wrappings looks pretty cool.

i am absolutely loving the bracelet on the aviator and the integration of it with the case of the watch

The burnt earth is my favourite too, closely followed by the Sport and the Pilot. The idea behind the river dial is intriguing but I believe the handset doesn't go with it at all. But since it was the most popular pre ordee variant I may be swimming against the current here.

That sport is quite splendid, but I wish the indices were trapezoidal with the narrow sides aimed at the hands.

I do like the sport dial variant, particularly w/ the bracelet add-on. I do think at the price-point though, (especially full MSRP) it does have some stiff competition, from a wide array of brands, both "micro," as well as "big name" manufacturers. This Aussie brand has some nice watches. I bought the Pilbara rock. Great watch for the money. They had me with the Red dog case back. Great movie and true story! The two that catch my eyes are the earth, and black dials. Spend the extra money and get on the bracelet. Kind of tempted to buy the burnt earth. It could be the alter ego to my rock diver! What would make the crazy (good) lume dial work for me is unlumed black or darkest blue hands. Most visible day n night.

Think the River is just enough of weird for me to love it! If it were the sensible choice however, I'd go with the sport

At £375/£435 landed in the Uk, it is indeed bargainous.

I think the riverlume is inspired by Sarpaneva, the sport by Ball (and possibly Seiko but I'm not familiar with those). Just inspired, not homages.

Nice job, tough to decide between three of them. I’m glad the River dial is a big seller for them, but it’s not for me. The Aviator reminds me a lot of my Axios Pathfinder. Seems more vintage field/railroad than pilot, but I like it. Swiss movement at the introductory price is fantastic.

Took you a while to review this one, but better late than never! Ordered the Burnt Earth a couple of months ago and I can’t wait to get it!

That burnt earth is gorgeous. Just wish it came in 38 mm so that it would fit my bird-like wrists.

Don’t think I’ve seen four different watches using the same case before. They are all that different you could easily buy them all if you were so inclined….as for me I’d be all over the river dial- on the assumption they applied more lume to production units!!

I like the river dial maybe with some red hands?? I don’t know but that unique lume is nice.

Like the Sport model, very tool like, very solid designs. Minimal and cool.

The River Lume looks a bit wanky, but the others aren't bad. The bracelet looks smart, and my pick would be a Sport with the bracelet.

That burnt orange is fantastic but far too thick and heavy for me to open up my wallet. I love love the dial.

I bought the Aviator before the price hike. The watch arrived couple of weeks ago and with it came with a spare sterile back, although I can't imagine who would want to get rid of the kangaroo.

Really love that river lume, but the handset is out of proportion that it’s almost comical. 10.5 thickness would have been perfect for that.

The Sellita SW-200 is the same height as the ETA 2824 or the newer Powermatic 80. That is not really an excuse, Certina manages to get a 300m diver with 12mm thickness, on this style of watch Tissot, Certina, Mido etc. are often around or even less than 10mm.

They look great, might have to investigate one. I think they are a little thick, but I truly think that case back is wonderful touch. Still, that whole failing to capitalize the first letter of the brand name is kind of triggering me. Still, I think with enough support these guys could go somewhere. If they managed to shrink them down in future, add a some dial colour and case material options, this line could be a real goer. We have the industry and technology in this country to pull off a watch that can at least compete with Japanese manufacturing, and even your more attainable Swiss works like Tissot's and Hamiltons running ETA movements. There just not seem to be the passion to do so, so it is great to see some potential... and this seems to hold more than other local offerings.

Props for original design, but really doesn't do much for me unfortunately. The aviator is the best one imo, it's much more consistent. their logo works with the font used for the numerals.

Well I like much the river, very original, maybe a hands on a maroon or garnet simulate the red earth of desert or the autumn leafs floating in water... The Sport also like very much, vibes of 70's Japanese watches. And the colour of dial of burn earth is stunning but the numerals are aseptic. The aviator is one more. The bracelet only 52€ it a great price. the customs and taxes in Spain rise the price around 110€ with the armis.

They are something new and do look different. Made in Australia, that does it for me. Someone asks about the watch and you can say it is Australian, cool.

I'm no expert on budget watches but these seem price competitive even at full retail with that sw200. AliExpress etc aside. I just want to buy one or two more watches so I'll pass on these. If they had a display caseback, then perhaps. Q: Do casebacks come in standard sizes so I could order a replacement sapphire & steel one from AliExpress?

The "aviator " is the best of the bunch but no date on any of them, ok for occasional use but then you dont need an automatic. A date at 6 would fix that on all but the lume watch which is a bit of a niche piece.

I would call it salmon would sell a lot more watches.

Jody! I'm getting married this summer (winter for you in Australia) and I'm looking for a gold watch dripping in 70's style. Casio A168wg is an obvious choice, but you have any other suggestions?

Too big in my opinion. If it has been 38mm or smaller, with a 44mm lug to lug, the design would have worked better. The dimensions all seem slightly off on this one. Can't fault the finish though.

Those are almost offensively generic apart from the case back, pretty sure I could make any of those from bits off Ali express. Good luck to them but I dont see them selling many of those.
