Xbox makes a lot of long term planning and plans to keep customers by subscription. If you make no profit selling the console but get them hooked on a subscription service, it makes long term profit.

Love this video. The reason so many are confused about Xbox’s strategy is because they themselves don’t know what they’re doing. I’ll always tell people, look at those who know what they’re doing with tried and tested methods. Nintendo is the real market leader cos they make the most profit and use a very traditional model. PlayStation is also doing very well and their recent business report from the CEO stated the PS5 is the most profitable generation for them. Xbox, due to them losing the two previous console generations (current and last) are trying to disrupt the industry by bringing their own version of success. This just doesn’t work. They mention stuff like player numbers but most people know those things don’t matter for single player games. That’s why I knew their head of marketing was lying when he said Hifi rush was a success according to them. They’ve programmed their customers to buy games and that makes multiplats sell worse on Xbox and them to make little profit on their 1st party games. It’s sad how far they’ve fallen Rant over but yeah man keep up the good work. This was a great video

it woud be grade, if game studios that on gamepass get a monthly payback or a bonus pay vor games that get the most frequent downloards or most ratings or most playtime. so games that are fun and be good on gamepass naturaly can go on evolution vs pay to win and soulless games, like the soless bf2042 or the cod fradschise. and games like zhychonauts, hellblade, or even flitsim, age of empire or fallout 4, and also stokholders being again intrestet in Grade FUN games, and not in monetarisation evereywere, becaus that games not be downloardet in gamepass or good ratings. wen customer only can play games vor seying that games was worth it playing, than we back on a bedder path, and not wen players beeing exploited. :)
