Do you remember the scene when they drink together? There Wei Wuxan said Jiangcheng's type. He said: Beauty, natural beauty. Virtuous and caring, comes from a good family.Not to chatty and should have a gentle voice but not too capable. Should not burn through money. And it's exactly Nie Huaisang (okay he's chatty but the rest is good).

Exactly! Jiang Cheng need something cute and happy in his life. Okey Huasiang is not so happy after Nie Mingjue death... but before... Maybe Jiang Cheng brings him joy further!

@@polishedition they can make each other happy. And I do think that Nie Huaisang can make the Jiang brother's relationship as good as it was before. Since they were all friends before.

Nie Huaisang is one of my fave because he's mostly nervous and idolizes Wei Ying XD plus his very funny XD

Unless you ship him with WWX, Huaisang is the only person that JC actually speaks to throughout the series, so the Sangcheng is as close ad we can get to a realistic ship for JC 🤭😍😍

I rewatched the show for the third time and noticed that JC stood next to NHS when WWX spoke to Xiao like a guard dog. No one was going to get near NHS. I totally ship these two for so many reasons.

I originally shipped Huaisang with Xichen (still do) , but now I have to admit Sangcheng has become my favourite. Re-watching the show I noticed JC tends to stand next to NHS like a particularly well-dressed bodyguard. Also if anyone could understand NHS post-canon it would be JC and vice-versa.

Honestly I ship jiang cheng both with nie huaisang and wen qing but since wen qing is dead I was hoping nie huaisang and jiang cheng would have some interactions.

@@insomniaaaaa4813 My HC is that post canon JC and NHS get together. Maybe not romantically, but definitely platonic. They both lost so much, they had famous chemistry as teens, and NHS would be the one to convince JC to rebuikd his relationship with WWX.
