I haven't made a video in a really long time so I decided to just turn on my camera and talk to you all about something I've been thinking about without having much of a plan because I keep getting stuck on the planning part. I hope you don't hate this.

I love this for you - not the years of continual mispronunciation and ignorance on other people's parts, obviously, but that you are standing up for yourself.

Thank you for sharing your experience! It can definitely be hard to correct people, great for you for working up the courage :) With so much text based communication I wish it was customary to have a "pronounciation" field along with the name. Either IPA or just a little sound clip.

Luckily, I had studied mid-century modern design before I met you so I just assumed you pronounced your last name like the designers and I think I was right. But yeah, demand your name!
