Saya 507 no-till-drill first time use. Planting corn.

This is my first time planting with the saya 507 no till drill. Putting dent corn on the creek bank to shield my fields from the road. Hopefully it will grow large enough.

Did you try to plant brassica how many pds per acre did you get the drill calibrated to

Bought a 507 today. You would think that they would tighten the bolts and line up the coulters.

Did you ever make a video on calibrating the drill? Last 2 years both plantings of both years I couldve used a hand spreader and put my seed down in a fraction of the time it took just trying to calibrate the drill. Ive had it for 2 years and Ive been very disappointed with it. And trying to figure out what they got going on with that calibration sticker inside, geez. Ive yet to find one person who understands Tar Rivers directions to calibrate it.

I'm looking at getting one of those drills. How has it held up for you? Curious as to how well it cuts. I've got a lot of grassy areas, bahai, etc.

Have you used that drill again since you made this? Considering purchasing this drill and I'm wondering if it makes a difference if the grass is shredded first so there is not so much competition.

I use a crimper that kills the grass prior to planting

Corn did good. It's about a foot tall now

How many horse power is the tractor? Also who sells that no till drill?

47hp. Not sure who so sells it them. But does a good job.

@@David-kd5mf prob not, but they sell a saya 505 that is built the same just smaller. Chapter too.

Pictures of the corn up and growing? Dint like that it doesn't cover those seeds but probably the lack of field preparation and all the green vegitation
