What purpose does connector cn2 in the lower middle of the 24v Board shown at the beginning has? Is it for connecting a Fan? Which components does it need beside this missing part to solder to the Board to have a Fan there?

I have a 12v 30 amp psu. Which was blown due to mains voltage fluctuation. 13007 transistors were damaged and I replaced those. But now the output negative and positive are shorted. What could be the problem? I have removed the 3 pin output diodes still shorted. What should I check?

My SMPS transistor has some plastic cover attached with thermal paste on it. Should I remove the plastic or should I keep it I am trying to change thermal paste on it so need advice to keep that plastic or just apply on the transistor and touch it to the metel body without plastic

Bro my Smps is cooler master and it's got shot circuit due to bijli ..now it's not working any there is no power in it, so can you tell me is it possible to repair it? And if I get it repair will it fuse it again? Please help

I am using 12v 30A power supply. recently it become faulty due to output drops. it is showing out put like 7 to 8 v hardly. checked most of the items and nothing found with digital multimeter. what will be the reson?. please reply.

Correction: The third one (which looks like a transistor /mosfet) is actually called a SHOTTKY BRIDGE RECTIFIER. It looks like a mosfet. But it is not a mosfet or any transistor. Example part no. MBR2020CT, MBR20100CT, U10318 etc. Suggestion: please provide part no of most common items which go bad. Since most of these smps are made in China, and they use chinese components, its difficult to find dataset of those components on the internet. Therefore if you give the part no /equivalent part no of components, then a person can easy check datasheet and buy locally. Example Mosfet D1 3007/3009 etc. You can't even get a datasheet on the internet and neither can you find it easily in local spare shop. Therefore it becomes difficult to confirm an equivalent part which can be used.

sir one more question ,I have 12v 30 ah power supply, I pill off may be 104 capacitor inside of output 12v+ terminal,I don't remember it,I don't think which one was install ,at fast I install 104 capacitor without line, power supply has run but come out noising and doesn't fan run,I check all component ,but I didn't find any fault component,I checked series line, what can I do sir

Sir igbt 13009(2) tak sub kuch ok h but pulse transformer k baad problem aa rahi h, output led not glow, no output voltage appear, kisi n dc output ki jagah ac connect kar diya jissey fuse blown, mov blown, igbt blown, igbt diode short , resistance 3'3k blown 1k blown . Sub kuch kar diya but pulse not shown. Pls suggest me . Thankx.

Then problem in rectifier , due to that fuse blow. Change the rectifier with a new one

last ka jo do MOSFET hai uss me se ek kharap hai app check karke usko replace karo. and uske age jo resistor hai uska valo check kar lena unsolder karke. agar value proper nahi hai to resistor bhi replace karna parega

Sir I have 12v 30 ah power supply,at fast it has problem power off,I check all component, but I has find someone problem ,2 transistor,big capacitor beside which 150k resistor,and 472 1 kv capacitor.i use 120k resistor , change transistor.472 1kv I don't get then I use 472 2kv capacitor,now power supply power on but fan isn't running,and so many noising.

Did you get any voltage? Try use any load like led or motor on the smps and tell what output you get.

Sir I checked with the series line This problem came out after being checked, I checked the output voltage the voltage is variable but noising and the fan is not working

Here exact value matter a lot. So use exact 150k instead of 120k. Capacitor is ok. Hope the problem will solve

Yes its blow the fuse. Change it. Then set at 220v and start working.

Vir mare pas distv ka set top box hai usme 3v,12v,5,&24 v ka pin hai Muje 24 volt ka use karna hai. Job mai smps ka sara pin nikal kar use leta hu tob beling karta hai. Lekin smps ka sara pin dushri pcb par laga kar 24 volt use leta hu tab beling nahi karta hai. Kia karna hoga. Batana plz?

Mera New 24 Volt 5 Amps SMPS Me Bridge Rectifire ke baad jo blue color ki do capacitor hai, unme se ek jal gaya hai aur fuse blow ho gaya hai .
