I would suggest replacing the outlet the air conditioner was plugged in to, just in case the outlet is loose or burned.

What good luck that you could fix your ac. My portable one is about 11 yrs old and hoping it last longer. My window one is as old and so far so good. We are getting temps like you guys. I took wedding photos yesterday and it was an outdoor wedding with temps in the nineties. I was beat when I got home. I wish I could be there to celebrate with you guys; I will be in spirit. Hey, I bought one of those little window air conditioners like you put in the kitchen last year because even though my house has a swamp cooler, it doesn’t do much when it’s just working by itself here in Utah right now we are in the 90s Fahrenheit but starting Monday, we are supposed to be at 102f and then go all the way up to 106f?by Thursday

I’m sure you have said it before, but what is the app that you use for finding hiking trails? I’ve been having some lower back pain, and I’m pretty sure it’s because I do a lot of sitting and walking on flat ground while at work, and want to try my hand at hiking. Hopefully it’ll help by getting more active … and seeing a chiropractor. Maybe if you had the chance, make a video of what you and Angie carry in your trail bags.
