Thanks for sharing your story, having a puppy is hard work, but I think you did the right thing.

That dog was sick and the adoption agency knew it. No dog coughs, pukes and poops in a new home. They may be timid or scared but not what you experienced. Yes, they are work but worth it. ❤

I think if you did your research before getting a puppy - reading books, articles, watching training videos, etc - you would've realized that having a puppy is like welcoming a child! It really is a commitment that you should try to prepare yourself for. Nonetheless, I'm sorry about your experience, especially since the pup was sick :(
