The time has come for us to cycle the last stretch of our epic journey through Morocco. Some gorgeous roads still remain with a rocky backcountry approach to the High Atlas. We find the road less travelled up to the the highest paved pass in the country, the 'Tizi n' Tichka', at 2260m. After a nice downhill we decide to take one last detour which turns out to be very demanding but totally worth it! Back to Marrakech, where the traffic is crazy and needs some careful navigation before we pack the bikes and head out to the airport. An adventure of a lifetime has come to an end!

These are such well-made videos: The drama has a sense of difficulty & wit & warmth & challenge and, in this, closure- thanks partly to the fine closing medley. The cinematography shows lots of care in both filming and editing, including with fine shots from distance to give context (also helped by good maps). He Eric and Maudie, Daniel from Germany here. Thanks for taking me with you! Am going to Morocco as well in two weeks and will spend one month travellling and hiking there! Your experiences look really amazing! Some critical thoughts though: There is an ongoing problem about Europeans "heroising" people from the Global South as "super welcome", "warm at heart" and so on. To some degree this may be true, but it is not because they naturally "are" this way, but rather because they are also shaped by their social environment, which, as you could see, is quite hard when it comes to earning a living. People need to rely on each other and have to help out in order to get helped out too, when times are rough. Just wanted to point this out, because from the comments in this series I got the assumption that some of your followers may unthinkingly come to the conclusion, that we in the industrialised countries are that way while Moroccons are the other way... Some critical words on that topic would have been nice, if you ever thought about this problem too. Another thing I was asking myself is if you considered taking the train to Morocco. Am going to travel from Germany in two weeks and we pay 190 Euros one way (2 Nights along the way and ferry included). It is much less CO2 Pollution and I am only pointing this out, since you are KZfaqrs and own responsibility for your community. Would have been great, if you had talked about this topic too. Last thing: Have you ever made a video on how you manage to take time to do these journeys? For most people it is impossible since you only get 30 days of vacation a year when you are doing wage labor. Do you resign fron your jobs and look for new ones when you come back? My critic is not meant to be personal. Love your videos and you seem to be nice people! Greets, Daniel

Hi Daniel! Everyone is a mirror of his/her environment, character and as such differences between people and local culture will arise. We share our experiences as we go along and try not to be polarising about it. There is enough division in the world as it is. We have several videos taling about our budget and how we managed to stay out for as long as we did. I guess 'frugal' would sum it up in one word. Have a great stay in Morocco!!

The both of you HAD enjoyed more of Morocco within a short span of time,compared to me,having worked with Toyota Du Maroc for nearly 4 years,based in Casablanca. Really happy to follow your adventure and the amazing way to load up and tie up 2 big boxes with bicycles on the roof rack of that Renault taxi,was "cute"!. Bon Voyage and have a safe trip home.
