AutoVlog I’m 17 yers old I’m a blessed individual my first car is a 2011 Saab 9-5 Aero that’s my dream car I always wanted one since I was 10 years old I have that and a 2015 Kia Optima SXL Turbo when I graduate high school hopefully I’m going to trade in my optima for the Kia Stinger or Sorento.

I had a 1995 Saturn SL1 with like 250,000 miles. The shift cables were held on with vice grips, the center console was missing, I had one window crank to use on all the windows, the AC didn't work, it burned a quart of oil a week, the headlights only worked periodically, it smelled awful, the ride was bad and the fuel economy was abominable. I wanted a new car for a long time but this one still worked so I held on. Then I got t-boned at 50MPH on the drivers side. It made me cry whenever I sold it for scrap because not only had I not been injured, but I even DROVE THE CAR HOME. It was a hunk of junk, but I will forever remain grateful for it since it refused to die.

I had a 2007 Altima got rid of it to this day never a single day i think about that car that was my pride and joy if i was still driving that car be sitting out there right now look like day when bought new for my 17th birthday well still got plenty of pictures took when first got it.

This is super true! You actually get more connected to your car the longer you own it. When my wife’s 2010 Tahoe lease was up in 2013 my kids who were in High School (at the time) were super sad honestly on the verge of tears....my wife was crying all the way back home which was about a 30 min drive....It’s super heartbreaking to have to return a car that you love...Wish he would have bought the fusion out at the end of the lease..

Cars just mean so much to some people. It's almost if they were a living human. When the time comes to an end with it, either lease is over or you sell it, it almost feels like someone in your family pasted away. Ill be honest.... that's exactly how I feel. You always create that special bond with the vehicle and one day you'll move on to something else.

Like you said, kids' feelings are genuine and pure. I remember as a kid when my dad sold his 2002 Grand Caravan, I grew up in that minivan and had a lot of good times with family and friends in it. I'm now 23, but after seeing Sydney's reaction after you said goodbye to the fusion it brought back how I sad I was when my dad sold the Grand Caravan. Who's cutting onions around me?

Yes it can be tough to let something go that has been part of your family for 3 years. Good thing is that you have plenty of great memories with her and I know that your next daily whatever it will be (Audi S4, Kia Stinger, Lincoln MKZ Reserve, etc... ) Awe I feel for Sydney but I am glad that she got some fan mail, so sweet. I am sure that it will go to a good home and that saying bye to the F-150 XLT will be sad too. Bye Fusion.

Great to see such an awesome family! So here I am 2 years after you posted this and I can tell you that you totally solidified my decision to get my 2019 Fusion Titanium AWD. As a replacement for my old Nissan Maxima, it has a pretty tough act to follow but it looks like it’ll do just fine. Thanks for the videos and take good care of those ladies.

My wife and I cried when we had to say goodbye to our 2006 Kia Sedona EX. Sadie Sedona was there when we were poor, well off and poor again. She carried newspapers like a champ and never let us down. She left us because Geico totalled her for excessive body damage. She was our Land Rover rescue vehicle when my 2005 Land Rover LR3 was down which is always. I miss you Sadie. You are irreplaceable. Love from the Pope family.

it is good to see Sydney was attached to the Fusion. It shows good manners and proper parenting to teach the kid to value things. Most of the consumerist brats these days just throw/destroy things like nothing and want new ones because......"it's just a thing" But Sydney showed sence of value in both emotional and material way which is rare and shows she is living in well mannered environment with her parents... I leased three Mazda 3's over twelve years and when the first one went back, the better half cried for ten minutes. It was the first car she ever had in her name and it changed her life in a lot of ways. I think it was still her favorite, just because of what it meant.

To me cars are like family members, mine was bought in 1993 and has about 175,000 miles on it. It only left me on the side of the road a couple of times. Same transmission, engine and never got in an accident with it. It does have scratches and dents on it but It's old and figured thats the part of having old cars. I did buy another car and is a 2016 ford and I drive it a few times a week, my old car I drive a couple times a week and is still running good although I had to replace a few minor things like timing belt, fuel pump, alternator and a repaired gas tank and 2 new sets of tires I still love it!
