Honestly. Since you already drilled into the body panel, I’d replace those self tappers with riv nuts. It’s way more secure, and won’t ever strip out from scraping or any force on the piece. Not to mention, you can actually take it on and off as many times as you want, and unlike self tappers that’ll eventually bore out its original hole after a few removal/reinstalls. I assume they’re going to remove those side skirts when wrapping the car so those self tappers are already going to start being loose if they do remove the side skirts.

I remember almost 10 years ago I had a 07 scion tc. Got it with no intention to fix it up. One day this guy approached me gave me a card for some club called scion culture here in San diego. I ended up going to a car meet up. Said screw it good way make some friends. I ended up putting halo lights on it. Lowered it. Front lip kit. $1200 wheels and a sound systen.. Nothing to the engine. All stock. I didn't care for that. I did minor upgrades seeing how it could look by seeing others tc in scion culture. 😅 I dunno I just never cared about fixing up a car up until that car club approached me. 8 years later I'm 39 and I'm just glad I have a running car that works that takes me where I need to go 😅. It's true older you get the less you care for stuff you may have liked 10 years ago..nice video as always
