There is absolutely no reason in this world why best friends can not choose the same style wedding dress. Some family members wear the exact same dress for generations.

My friend and I both got married the same year. When I described my dress to her, after she had bought hers, she said that it sounds like hers. We got the same dress! It's ok. Nobody noticed.

These young women are going to be friends forever. They should just compare guest lists, and see how much overlap there is. If it’s only a handful of people, they should both get that dress. This is a rock solid friendship.

Why not get it together and share? They seem to have similar body types - so probably with some little alterations it could have fit them both. Half the cost and such a cute sign of friendship.

Except for those there at the appointment, in all honesty no one else will realize it is the exact same dress 3 months later. They have different figures. Having different flowers, veil, and bridesmaid dresses will be enough variation that it won't seem exactly the same. Both are sweet gals with good families.

This was the sweetest say yes to the dress I have watched, I actually teared up a bit omg! Although people are saying they could have shared the dress, I feel like if i were a bride I personally wouldn't really want to share a dress. A dress for a wedding seem so personalized, and sharing it, even with someone i love deeply, just feels a bit like part of my special moment isn't mine. Of course, this would vary between people

The dress looked better on Janay.. her curves filled out the dress better whereas her friend looked like she was drowning the the fabric a little bit. However, I’m happy that their friendship overcome fighting over a stupid dress lol😅

Both brides should find a new dress and no one wears it! It will always be a reminder of some difficult feelings. Friendship should come first and no one have to give in.

There are a lot of dresses very similar to the one they both loved. I don't understand why they didn't pull a different one that looked much closer to it instead of the first one T wore.

I love their friendship together, it was so sweet, but I don't understand why they didn't want or think of buying the same dress, PLUS if they wanted their own unique dress, the consultant could have made each dress a different shade of white so they have the same dress but in different colors. Like one in ivory and one in white.

I think both brides have good taste yes obviously, but in my opinion i think they should wear different dresses so that way on social media it doesn’t turn into “Who wore it Better?” competition which will put their friendship to the test

Oh goodness, I'm having a dejavu vibe with this scenario because my little sister and I had a similar dilemma when it came down to our sweet 15 gown. After I had my shot in my sweet 15 dress (a semi strapless sweetheart princess style) my sister told my mom that she liked my dress and since my mom was going on budget like she did with my sweet 15, it worked out well between all three of us. Only thing my mom did to make it look different was she replaced where the butterflies 🦋 were in place with sunflowers 🌻 and a few other things to dress it up more so neither my sister or I couldn't say anything that would make us second guess our decision (not to mention our themes [ butterflies for me, and sunflowers for my sister] for our sweet 15 especially given the fact that my sister and I are 5 years apart). So yeah, I know the feeling all too well lol 😆 😅 😂 ♥ 😉

Both girls should get the same dress. With a different veil, accessories, and different hairstyles, each bride will have their own unique wedding dress experience, even if the dress is the same. Each bride will be happy for the other. Truthfully, even guests that go to both weddings will not compare the brides, they will be in awe of each one's individual beauty.

How about a double wedding with both brides wearing identical dresses? 😄

i feel like the dress suited jenaya a bit more but how come we didn't get to see her try on the dress that she said "screamed jenaya"? not to mention i'm sure they have dresses that are SIMILAR without being identical, where's the one that has the same princess-style beading at the top but also has bling around the hem of the skirt? i've seen a couple brides come out in that one and it's always blown me away.

did the dress only come in that color? One could have done white while the other had a cream,ivory, or blush one? My dress had the option of silver threading and beads or white, maybe there was a option for that. Both could have had the same dress and look different with accents and accessories. Different veils, different jewelry, one could have added some off the shoulder lace straps.

Their weddings are like 3 months apart and guests probably wouldn't know or care (well most of them anyway) - Just both have the same style and maybe let close friends know that they are such good friends that they each wanted the other to be happy in their favourite dress - they already said they have the same taste in clothing, so what is the big deal - who cares if someone else wore the same dress, it really just does not matter. Be happy and have the dress you love - don't worry about what anyone else does.
