Face it. If SB19 didn't blow up in the global scene, host in question wouldn't give the time of the day to explain himself. But yeah, here we are. Their job was to interview and welcome their guests, no bias, no prejudice. If you are a host, you make sure to bring out the best in your guests and make them feel comfortable in your home/platform. They did the opposite, and between the hosts and guests, it was the guests who who showed true professionalism. Now I understand the message of Bazinga. We should stop this culture of humiliating people in the name of entertainment. It's so cheap and distasteful. That's why I always cringe when watching Philippine noontime shows today. I can't stand the hosts. Cheap jokes, discouraging. They do realize the youth is watching, right? Ang laki ng responsibilidad nila grabe. Daming bata nanonood. Scary coz they have so many followers. They'll think this is normal. I don't remember Pops, Martin, Gary V, or Zsa Zsa ever doing that sa ASAP in the 90s. It's been so long since I watched PH TV and little clips of these guys hosting is appalling, to say the least. Now I see that said mediocre hosts are more respectful towards them sa interviews, syempre kasi big time na sila, diba. Billboard eh. Face it. Sadly, it's always been the case. I was one of the people who called out robbie on twitter that time.it was offensive, after stell he made fun of his high voice. This is their first time on ASAP and its a big platform, that kind of behavior just reinforced the bashing they get from general public. Its good that fans complained otherwise he wouldnt be aware hes doing that.

I was also the one who called out Robi at that time, because even he wanted the boys to be relax at that moment, but sana as tinitingala kang host you should always watch your words, be always sensitive to others sa maaari nilang maramdaman. Imagine first time palang kayong ng meet tapos babardugulin nyo ng ganyan in their first appearance in the national television. As well kay Maymay at Edward, may dating yong mga binibitawan nilang mga jokes. Like, Edward, napanganga nga sila sa ganda ng boses ni Stell tapos papa audition mo sa Voice Kids, my golly naman! And during that time, si Stell ang tampulan ng bashing. And I really feel sorry for Stell. Sa dami ng inabot nyang pangba bash buti di siya nadurog. Kasi si Stell talaga at that time ang binabash ng todo lalo na in his visual kasi nga hindi nila nakikita ang taglay nyang galing. Walang problema sa looks ni Stell, he's gorgeous man. Ewan ko lang talaga sa mga bashers kung bakit ganyan nalang ang attitude nila toward Stell at sa apat na din. Since then up until now Im so proud of these boys, kasi sa dami ng kanilang hindi magandang pinagdaanan ay hindi sila sumuko at ito na nga sila ngayon na nirerecognize na sila ng karamihan. Kaya nga ng makita ko sa WHAT ang iron maiden yong sa part ni Josh, ganun na ganun ang nirerepresent ng mga naranasan nilang torture na galing sa mga bashers. Can't imagine talaga how they handled that Iron Maiden that almost shattered their dreams. But I also salute to Robi, he learned so much sa nangyari, and look at him now he's much better version of himself. Hindi naman kasi matatawaran ang galing nya sa hosting. But at the end of the day, attitude matters most. 😊 Kaya dapat lahat tayo watch our words kasi pag nasabi na natin yon kahit pa mag apologize tayo di mo na mabababawi pa ang sakit na naibigay natin. Parang kasing pinagtatawan sila and engaging audience to do the same.

watching this in 2023, me as a new A'tin, i understand where the Aurum came from..instead of joking, sana ini-emphasize nlng nila ang good features ng SB19..nag guest ang SB19 sa show pra ma promote ang craft nila and these hosts were being tactless at that time..kung fan na ako ng SB19 nung panahon na yan, same ang reaksyon ko sa Aurum.

I am a fanmom from USA… and see things a little different, but some comments, attitude, treatments of the staffs to SB19 were mean , rude and disrespectful. But I am so proud of SB19 being humble and able to maintain composure and poise.I am someone who is very careful of what to say and think first coz I don’t want to apologize later.

I was already an A'tin back then when this incident happen with robi. Most a'tin felt uncomfortable for the boys with all the jokes and this is on NATIONAL TV. What would casual viewers think of SB19 then that the host are making fun of them. This happened Sept 2019 the time that they get viral, as in nagstart pa lang ang SB19 to get notice mainstream kaya sobrang protective ng fans sa boys nung time na yan kasi grabe din yang era na yan, BASHING ERA yang time na yan eh (gaya-gaya, kpop wannabes, hindi gwapo/papanget, Filipino Kpop group). Imagine yourself in this era? Kakayanin mo ba? Patibayan ng puso sa pag-STAN sa SB19 nung time na yan. After that Robi worked with SB19 on Aja-Aja in Korea, they all went to shoot in Korea around Oct of 2019 dun na nagcelebrate ng bday nya si Josh. Grabe bumalik yung memories ko ng 2019 with SB19 😅😅

Masasabi ko lang napaka positive lang talaga ng SB19. They can definitely carry themselves with poise. Lalong lalo na ngayon❤

Bakit? - alam ko kung paano mag-host si Robi. - ang format ng iWant ASAP ay very light lang, tropa-tropa lang. - mao-offend ako kung interview ito sa talk show, radio show, presscon etc. Knowing na hindi naman pala sila naapektuhan, at alam na natin nung mga nagdaang taon na di naman sila nagpapatinag sa below the belt criticisms, move on na sa bad feelings na yan kung meron pa. I had to watch it by fragment then kasi everytime naririnig ko yung sa tingin ko na panlalait, pang iinsulto, panghihiya grabe yung pain na nararamdaman ko. Pero mukhang ok naman na ang both parties ngayon, I think na realized na ni Robi na he committed a huge mistake in that interview.

Yes this is their first TV/Major TV appearance after they've gone viral. I think at this time they (host) did not really take them (SB19) seriously more like they see them as a joke. And that's fine they are stars and SB19 has nothing other than they're "K-pop wannabes" plus there are groups like Yung Kay Marlo ba Yun? na one hitter go away Lang. Lesson learned, don't ever underestimate someone who has real talent coz regardless of circumstances they will shine. Di yung pinasawalang bahala lang dahil di pa sila well known. And I'm proud that even with nervousness, insensitive jokes towards them and everything, Esbi handled it very well. Better than expected. Good thing to know too na A'tin back then always had our boys' back. Even now.

This was a long time ago pero I believe the interview wasn't done with taste and class. Good thing SB19 is really professional despite the nervousness. Honestly, ganito talaga ang format ng ABS-CBN, so, hey, to each their own.

When I first saw the vid, A'tin na ako and talagang naka kainis naman yung ibang parts ng interactions ng Mahalima with the 3 hosts. Kasi nga bilang A'tin, we cannot help but feel yung kaba nila. Yes part of my annoyance was because of my love for the boys, pero when I thought about it, ganyan na talaga ang culture dito sa Pinas when it comes to hosting tv shows. Kapag kapwa pinoy at wala kang pangalan/connections, laging naka reserve yung respect. Like everytime kelangan pang patunayan if you deserve it,kakain ka muna ng apoy ganern. Pero kapag artists na may connections or foreign artist yan, yung respect ang taas agad kahit wala pa man. And agree ako sa isang comment dito, mostly pang comedy bar talaga yung style of hosting dito. Hindi na mawala wala yung pag puna sa appearance at yung mga slapstick comedy para lang magpatawa. So yeah, I have no hate for Robi and I appreciate naman yung effort nya to clear things up. And kita naman kung paano sya maging fan din ng boys.
