The deep voice is indeed Ken and not Pablo. The video was cut/zoomed maybe due to copyright issues but on the original you can actually see Ken singing the low parts!

You are correct on how you pronounced A’tin. SB19 are known as live monsters. They actually do perform live every time even with their upbeat songs. They just finished their 2day kicked off Pagtatag concert and both days was sold out. They performed 20 songs with a live band. You should watch the fancam for Gento and their solo performances.

Watched Day 2 of their concert and it was an experience on a different level! They did a whole choreograpy for I Want You and the crowd went wild! And Stell did an amazing job with Defying Gravity. Imagine singing a Broadway song in a pop concert. Love it! Hope you can react on that as Stell soared to the heavens! Thank you for your genuine reactions to our boys. Speaking of Bruno Mars, he had a 2 day concert as well and guess what, same days with SB19 and it wasn't intentional, if SB19 knows about it like ahead, they'd definitely scheduled theirs like ahead or later coz I'm sure all of them will watch Bruno Mars. I have to say it since you mentioned Bruno here coz bashers were saying SB19 have the Nerve, they did it intentionally which caused SB19 some vacant seats, which these bashers can never understand why the ticket sales, both days were sold out. Those empty seats are on the side corners facing the huge speakers near backstage that's why they were not available to sit on. Anyway, both concerts were jam-packed and successful.

Yes, you pronounced it right the first time. “Mahalima” is a combination of “mahal” meaning “love”, and “lima” meaning “five”. More wordplay 😉

You’re right about the audience going gaga if they were there. The screaming at their concerts over the past weekend on this song was insane 😂 Your mini-rant about AI generated voices-I love it. It’s so frustrating how so many are jumping onto the AI bandwagon being used in the creative arts. I really enjoyed this reaction and how much you really like them haha. All songs in their new EP has its own charm. But my fave are the 2 ballads: Liham and Ilaw. Watch the lyric video first to understand the meaning of the song. Afterwards you can watch one of the fancams on their recent concert on these 2 songs and see how they delivered it. It made most A’tin cry

Mahalima are 2 words strung together. The 1st part "Mahal" means "love" or "beloved", while "lima" means "5". In its entirety, Mahalima means "beloved five".

Tbh it's really scary for artists to sing live with very low backing tracks anything can happen, you can sound off, you can be distracted and all that and it could affect the vocal quality. But despite those dangers or risks the boys still do it and sing otherwise. They sometimes lose it a bit but it doesn't erase the fact that they can really sing and harmonize really well. Love these boys. I hope you can watch their concert and I would love so much to hear your thoughts on your SB19 concert experience. Thank you so much for the support.

Hi, I am a new subscriber. They just had their very successful concert in Araneta. Stell really shone there, but everyone was great performer. Audiences were screaming , it was so so good. Stell sang Defying Gravity. Over all, they performed incredibly amazing.

I've watched their Pagtatag World Tour kick-off concert and they sound so good singing live. They perform all the song with a live band and the concert stadium and the audience are all on fire and gone crazy especially on the new choreo for I Want You and their choreo for Crimzone. It's 🔥🔥🔥.

Yes, it’s “A’tin”, the way you’d pronounce “18”. As with anything to do with SB19, it’s another wordplay. The very first name of their fan group was Aurum, Latin word for gold*. The “A” in “A’tin”, is in honor of “Aurum”. There’s also a Filipino word, “atin” (ah-tin), meaning “ours”. Pablo and the group said that “there is no 19 if there wasn’t A’tin (18)”. So when you read it, “A’tin” has a lot of meaning behind it. *Side note: some say that the word “ginto” (gold), in the song “Gento”, could also be a reference to Aurum, their first fans.

My bias is Pablo. He very talented. He can sing, rap, sing any genre, and play different instruments too. He is a songwriter, producer, leader and CEO. Huge responsibly on his shoulder. That was stressful and he needs to write song for their group and jingle for the commercials.

Thank you for the RV on SB19. I like how you analyze their singing, including the imperfections, as well as the whole performance. Their song CRIMZONE (I think they still pronounce it as Crimson, like blood red crimson) lyric video is great by itself. Even though it is just a lyric video, their voices carry such conviction, the hype just carries over. I just saw the Manila concert video on Crimzone, though, and like, I have no words. I wish you could watch their concert. I'm watching the Los Angeles one myself. So looking forward to a feast for the eyes and ears. I know they probably can't bring the whole crew from Manila, probably, but I hope their concert here could be just as good.

Most Filipino singers don't use autotune and if they do they do so for stylistic choice Pablo being a poet, he uses a lot of deep and old words in his songwriting Nah, how they danced that part is classier than x,y,z male cabaret/burlesque/etc; it's not overt nor sexual, but rather subtle and sensual. Yep, your pronunciations on A'tin and Mahalima (a portmanteau of mahal [love or expensive, depending on context and use] and lima [five]) are correct.

They also had a live band to back them when they were singing instead of using recorded tracks. MAHALIMA = Mahal (love) + Halina (fascination) + Lima (five). It's a term coined by a fan (A'TIN) to refer to SB19; it could also mean that you stan all five members and have no one specific member as a bias. I hope you get to react to their Rappler's Live Performances of ILAW and FREEDOM too. They're really SOOOO GOOD.. You really have to watch it.
