This is the magic of SB19 that haters are missing. They have a good back stories that inspire. They are very authentic. They give you that energy that you want to protect them. Thats why they have many loyal fans. We develop a deep love for them. The boys remain humble to this day.

I actually think too that SB19 made the right decision to split from ShowBT. The reason is because we can really see that they have a different vision from the company. ShowBT being an events company wants to promote the collaboration of Philippine and S.Korean culture and that's their vision. But the boys, SB19, wants to promote Filipino Music worldwide and inspire Filipino Talents. They have different goals and aspirations so it would only clash in the long run had they stayed with the company. So I really think SB19 standing up on their own is the best decision for the road ahead. And yes, this is one of my most favorite SB19 interview.😊❤

You’re spot on with the ShowBT take. I believe that company was really an event staging/management business. They just went on to “develop” SB19 (and other talents later on) because even they recognised that they had something special in these guys. The company had no experience or real ties to the music industry, at least not in the Philippines. One of the founder’s did have that experience in Korea, so perhaps that’s why their first singles were recorded there. By the time Pagsibol came out, there was a marked difference in their music because the guys had more creative control of it-that’s one good thing the pandemic brought. Anyway, thanks again, Hurraira. Look at me watching your vids at the ungodly hour of 3:20 am. I wasn’t kidding when I said your vids have become a daily habit. Don’t let me go through withdrawals haha.

Ohh!!! We do feel exactly the same way that's why A'tin and SB19 are match made in heaven. Our love for each other is unexplainable but you know in your heart that you can't live without them and that you love them unconditionally. Same with SB19, they always say we are their backbone. I can’t believe it is only now that you’ve seen them talk about girls 🙈 they always get asked this question. There was even an interview where ken was asked “do you kiss on the first date?” to which he replied “Yes”. While Pablo was asked “Are you a good kisser?” To which he replied “Yes”. this is my most fav interview of SB19. second is the annyeongkorealive. i so want another Toni interview now that they are back from US. (at that time their dream is to perform in US as Josh said) I wanna know what is their new dream/goal, which dream country next?

Toni is one of the prime interviewers in the country (she’s like our own Oprah) and dubbed as a Multimedia Star coz she can sing, dance, act, host, write a book, concert performer and even vlogging! She’s been doing this for almost 2 decades. She’s really professional and high caliber when it comes to her craft. She hosted big talk shows and tv competitions as well like Big Brother, The Voice of the Philippines, and among others.

Toni is really a good interviewer and there was a point when every show was hosted by her in ABS-CBN. And I like that she highlights members if they need highlighting.

With SB19 we don't feel that they are just our idols but more like people that are close to us that we've been with for so long. Their stories are so relatable, their music even proved that what they've been through is like what we've been through, at least in some point of our lives.

I’m not really into stanning artists. I mean I can always admire their work/music. Hearing the story of SB19 pulled me in to their world and fandom. I was esp touched about what Ken said that they did not do anything bad to people and there was also that Pablo said (in Cashual Chuck story) that if you can choose an action, ALWAYS choose KINDNESS. So same with you, i began to feel a familial connection to them and was suddenly wishing success for them. They’re like my children and I feel protective of them and want life to shine on them. I love your reaction, that you got a positive vibe. You also give off that positive energy when I watch you and also wish you the success you strive for.

They trust in each other's talent & capability. No crab mentality within the group, they build up each other❤️

I'm not sure but I think it's the only interview for this comeback where they really talked about entering their new era with 'PAGTATAG!' and what it’s like to be self-managed artists under their own company, 1Z Entertainment. It's where they performed Ilaw and Freedom too, I hope you can also watch that, it's english subbed titled "Rappler Live Jam: SB19"

When I hear them talk about busking, I can’t help thinking about how they are almost starting all over again - guesting in LA and NY local shows, busking on Hollywood Blvd and Times Square. And they do this gladly and humbly. They are so grounded that they don’t mind starting from scratch all over again, weaving their magic and drawing more international A’Tin into the family that we are (or should be!) I’d also like to say I love that Hurraira - like a true A’Tin does and knows - feels as we do about these boys. She loves all 5 of them and sees the strengths each one has and brings to the group. I love that she is as protective about this group and wants to see them succeed as badly as I (for example) do. She is family to us and we should appreciate her so much for this!

After watching this for the nth time, i gotta say, everything is meant to be. They poured out their hearts and souls to give their best on their craft. They deserve every bit of success. Yes, finally! I am so glad that you're able to react on this. No matter how many times I watch this, it still makes me teary-eyed. Toni Gonzaga-Soriano is an actress/singer and she gives good interviews. She made the boys relaxed and asked relevant questions. ShowBT is basically an events company and I am sure the boys will be forever grateful for the opportunity and the training they had. But they didn't manage the group as well as they should, especially when Tatang Robin sold the company to Charles Kim. There were rumors of abuse and neglect and might be some reasons why they were discouraged and disheartened. Xi-Anne and some of the staff even snuck them out one day to go to Enchanted Kingdom to help motivate them. That's why carousels have a special place in their hearts. SB19 fought long and hard to get out of the company. I am glad they have a great support team to help them on this journey. During a Rappler interview, they finally admitted they are now self-managed and will someday handle other groups to manage. Pablo said it was very difficult to start 1Z Entertainment and stated that it seems that all they did at the onset was to attend endless meetings. But it's all worth it.

Haters gonna hate! Bashers hate what they don't like and get mad on things they don't understand. There was a point back then when Stell received too much bashing and hate comments that he eluded himself to everyone including his bandmates. Apparently the sunshine of the group became gloomy, he's always hiding behind his bandmates head bent down. Life left his eyes, all you'll see is sadness and pain. It was too painful for us A’Tin seeing him like that. From that moment we promised to do anything we can to protect him and the boys from those cynic, haters and abhorrent people whom they did nothing but show great patience, understanding and be humble towards them at all times. We're thankful that Stell is a very strong, resilient person , and have a strong faith in God that's why he was able to fight and overcome those very ugly phase of his life.

I think they really started as entertainers only. There must be wrong about how they were marketed maybe because as a foreign company they wouldn't know how to break in the local music industry. But it was a good stepping stone and they did learn the discipline of training and open opprtunity for them. It was part of what they are now. Am just happy I discovered them too.

I thought the same about ShowBT. Yes they hone their talents but they marketed them wrongly. And I'm curious why they didn't put Pablo's name as composer/writer before (forgot the song name) they took action only when A'TIN called them out to give Pablo what he deserves. Maybe things like that continues if A'TIN didn't catch that up. They introduced SB19 as PPOP but when SB19 first comeback released the MV start in korean language and also end in korean that's why I think a lot of people criticize them for being wannabes that time. It's on Gento MV the last part with aliens it's like they mocking that line and those people who look down on them back then. But still thankful to ShowBT, there's no SB19 if they didn't hold any auditions and trainings. Just my own opinion..

When they were recently bashed again for not really receiving recognition from d likes of Grammy..VMA etc..I posted this in response : For me, it is similar to SELFWORTH..knowing it will make one formidable, bec no matter what issue or bashing is thrown, the person will remain unaffected and will just brush it off, wo the need to get validation from others to prove ones worth. Relating this to SB19 who I stan, im a fan Bec I know how good they are in their craft/field...seriously talented individuals (their good looks and humility are bonus) !! ..award or no award, recognition or no recognition in some highly regarded award giving bodies of the world, for me, WILL NOT invalidate the fact that they got what it takes to be in the pedestal some enjoy bec circumstances and the market were more favorable for them. Ken was still not in the group when others back out with the group. They came back and look for a member that could complete them, that is the time Ken passed the online audition and complete Sb19. It's just 6 months Ken trained before their debut. Justin also is still a trainee when other members quit. These boys were destined to be together.

Toni is also a controversial personality. She got bashers too and it intensified during the last election when she did an interview of a running president. She could relate to the haters.
