Hi! We appreciate some of you who contacted us. Kumunoy is a masterpiece, it can trigger our deepest, darkest emotions. Ganun 'sya ka-powerful. Harry, Blake, and I are relieved na may redemption sa final version. We already watched the concert clips din. Thanks for taking the time to DM us. We really watch and react to these videos for the first time to capture our genuine reactions. And then we discuss our thoughts. Ang maganda na-eextend yung discussion sa live premiere, Twitter and dito sa comment section. The art form is very much alive . Napaka-healthy ng discussion.

Thanks to the 3 of you who have been genuine and sincere in reacting and discussing Sb19-related videos/topics. I'm relieved na nakita nyo yung concert clips. This song really helped me cope up when I'm in my dark times, especially yung last part ng song. P.S. I've been watching your SB19 RVs since part 1. Nalaglag sa sahig ang puso ko nung kantahin ni Pablo ang Kumunoy sa concert nila. Sobrang honest niya sa emotions niya. Sobrang ganda ng song na yan lalo na sa dulo! Di nya na nakanta ng maayos kasi umiyak siya. Grabeh si Pablo! Very sexy mind indeed!

Kumunoy has actually a bridge part where he suddenly realizes that there are people beside him who he can ask help for, it also comes with a line of "Salamat oh aking Ama, ako'y makakaahon din!" (this part is performed in gitz concert). Pesonally, every time I listen to Kumunoy, it feels like I am not alone in my darkest times and realizes that I can share my pain with someone. Hehe.

Yes, Sejun's Kumunoy is an unreleased song. Yung version na pinakinggan niyo po, hindi pa po full yan. You can listen to its full version nung pinerform niya nung Manila Concert. Sa latter part po ng Kumunoy, may lyrics na "Kinakailangan ko ng tulong mo, pasensya na kung nakalimutan ko na lagi lang kayong nariyan sa aking tabi, pamilya kaibigan na nagmamahal, nagsisilbi. Ilaw sa tuwing magulo kong mundo'y nagdidilim." and yung "salamat po aking Ama, ako'y makakaahon din" at yung last line na "Kahit na ano pa yan, kakayanin ko lahat ng yan" Kumunoy can be a redemption song din. It's a masterpiece. It helped many A'tin, especially those who are Sejun stans just like me. :)

Si PABLO po talaga ang nagsulat and gumawa ng IKAKO. Mula Melody, pagsulat ng lyrics hanggang sa pag distribute ng mga lines. Si Pablo po talaga ang may kagagawan 😄😄😄

The first time I saw the fancam of Pablo performing Kumunoy, nakanganga lang ako the whole time. I was really amazed. Kahit sa cellphone lang yon, damang dama ko yung kanta pati yung stage presence nya sobrang lakas. A total performer, truly an artist. He deserves the world, SB19 DESERVES THE WORLD.

Don’t worry po kuya, if you would listen to the whole song, di po siya purely about giving up. At the end, the persona of Kumunoy realizes that he has friends and family that he can hold onto, implying that he can’t only do his battles alone.

This is my Kumunoy Story: I was never that person who'll admit I'm lonely before. It was Year 2020 when I realised I'm actually losing myself right after i heard Kumunoy (live version). My lola died last April, 2019, and I kept on telling myself, I'm okay. Then this pandemic started to press me down, then i told myself, I'm still okay. I keep on convincing myself I'm okay and that I don't need help from others. I nearly forgot how to Pray. Tsk. Then, July came. I became an A'tin. T'was midnight when I came across Kumunoy. I thought isa lang syang ordinaryong kanta, but i was wrong... That freakin' song made me cry for like hours... I kept on crying and i didn't know why.... Inulit ko ang lyrics and here's why I think this song is actually legendary: "Kumunoy spoke of the things I never wanted to admit. I found comfort in almost all the lines coz it reminded me that someone is actually going through that phase in life and that i'm not alone. The last part yung sabi nya, "kailangan ko ng tulong nyo". At some point in life, nakakalimutan naten humingi ng tulong. Then here's the redemption part, "pasensya na at nakalimutan kong nariyan lang kayo sa aking tabi"..... Nakakalimutan nating may mga taong handang makinig. Kung binabasa mo man to: it's okay to admit na nasa kumunoy tayo... It's okay to talk about our problems. Let's just don't forget that someone out there is willing to hear you out. Makakawala din tayo sa kumunoy.....

Kumunoy is one of my favorite unreleased songs of Pablo. There is a redemption part at the end of the song. Yes, the first part of song triggers a lot of dark and heavy emotions but the bridge of this song is very liberating. I really admire Pablo's talent.

Hi! Congrats for your thought-provoking reactions to the work/ talents of SB19, particularly Pablo’s songwriting skills.. your vlog is not the the typical reaction videos; at least you seemed to tackle issues beyond the obvious, and issues that are relevant to you and your viewers.. this time you talked about depression as expressed in Kumonoy..this is prevalent and further accentuated by this Pandemic.. as validated by many comments, they feel that the song articulated their fears/ frustrations and this allowed them to come face to face with their demons and knowing someone is going through the same experience give them courage, release and reassurance, that iKaw at ako , we share the same journey and hopefully we will survive!! According to Pinuno, the greatest gift he wants to receive is when his song has saved someone’s life...Tingnan nyo napaisip tuloy ako!! Hahaha..more power..

I was in GITZ Manila when Pablo performed the full version of Kumunoy. It was one of the most emotional and most lauded performance that afternoon. I remember myself crying as I watch him cry on stage. 🥺 Since then, Kumunoy has been my fave song. It’s dark, yes, but real and raw. It became my anthem as I battle my own demons. It's liberating and inspiring at the same time. Thank you, MattSummerTV, for all the SB19 contents.

Kumunoy is my most favorite SO FAR sa unreleased songs ni Pablo, very personal kasi tsaka relatable combined with a memory of him singing it on stage and calling out 'A'tin' at the end of the song. Nakaiyak ung perf na un :)

Yassss they are one of Pinuno's masterpieces. You'll definitely see there how talented Pinuno is in composing songs. He's always have a way with his words that really people can relate to and also moves them. Pablo was one of the greatest music gem in today's generation and in the years to come. He is such a great lyricist and his music is always earnest and sincere.

Ang ganda ganda ng kumunoy sobra. Sa GITZ concert nia kinanta yan ng buo. Ultimate bias ko si PABLO, isa sa reason is ung paghanga ko sa kanya bilang isang napakagaling na lyricist.

First time ko narinig ang Kumunoy sa isang fancam pero tumagaktak na ang luha ko. 'Coz I've been there. I've had the pain. But SB19 came and helped me overcome it. I relate in every line of the song. So deep yet so refreshing. A story of someone who overcame depression. That's when Pablo became my bias. He is a music gem. #SB19

*i love how ikako and kumunoy give us metaphoric lyricism. they give us raw and honest. ikako gives us calm while kumunoy gives us depth. I think kumunoy was written by Pablo when he wasn't in the best place mentally but that's WHERE HE FOUND HIMSELF and that's WHERE HE STARTED WORKING TOWARDS WHO HE WANTED TO BE. please note that in kumunoy's bridge (this was performed in GITZ concert) Pablo's lyrics go like this: Pasensya na't nakalimutan ko na lagi lang kayong nariyan sa aking tabi, pamilya, kaibigan na nagmamahal, nagsisilbing ilaw sa t'wing magulo kong mundo'y nagdidilim...* *P.S. I think kumunoy once again shows Pablo's penchant for tweaking his compositions...and kumunoy is a masterpiece bec it depicts Pablo at his most vulnerable.*

Napanood ko yung Kumunoy GITZ con perf niya sobra goosebumps ko non ramdam na ramdam ko yung bawat lyrics na binibigkas niya and umiyak siya non after niya kumanta lahat ng tao sumisigaw ng Sejun. Kumunoy is like his story nung mga panahong nawawalan na siya ng pag-asa at hindi niya alam kung saan siya dadalhin ng mga paa niya and later on he realized na may sumosuporta parin sakanya "pamilya, kaibigan na nagmamahal nagsisilbing ilaw sa tuwing magulo kong mundo'y nagdidilim salamat po aking Ama ako'y makakaahon din" yan po yung lyrics

I’ve heard Kumunoy in their concert. If I remember it correctly, the song has redemption part...something like ‘makakaahon din’...’kakayanin ko lahat ng yan kahit ano pa man.’ That’s why it’s the fave of many. This is more like a fight song for me.

I also think na it’s a very big advantage na SB19 mismo ang nagsusulat ng lyrics nila, especially Pablo. Dahil sila nga ang nagsulat mararamdaman mo talaga yung genuine messages na gusto nila iparating.

*I've always think about just what it is about Pablo's HOPE that is POWERFUL and I've found the answer in kumunoy. It isn't about being loud or bright, NOT always. Maybe sometimes, HOPE is just us on our knees, at our smallest, feeling guilty for existing but still, still we GO ON, from this second to the next, maybe that is not the HOPE we all want, but isn't it ours to keep? It may be muddled, dirty and broken in so many places but it is real and this HOPE, this HOPE is OURS to keep.* *P.S. I've been dissecting kumunoy since your RV came out and it made me appreciate the song more, tysm MattSummerTV.*

Kumunoy has a full version. Sayang 'di niyo po napanood. Sa latter part ng song, naliwanagan siya sa lahat, na nahanap niya ulit yung ilaw na nawala sa kanya. Napagtanto niya na hindi sa lahat ng oras, kakayanin niya mag isa dahil may mga pamilya at kaibigan siya na handang tumulong sa oras na nasa madilim na parte siya ng buhay niya. May line rin po na "salamat po aking Ama, ako'y makakaahon din" :)

Kumunoy, isa yan sa fave song ko ni pablo, pag pinapakinggan ko un feel na feel ko ung nararamdaman nia, sobrang ganda nung kanta niang yan, nacocomfort ako ng kanta yang yan, kaya lagi ko ding pinapakinggan.🥺

the ikako in bye2020 gave me goosebumps and made me cry....if you have time pls watch it ....Pablos bridge was really amazing! imagine making the song at the height of the pandemic when everyone was at their lowest,i heard people thanking SB19 bec it saved them from anxiety and depression....thank you guys for loving SB19

I'll be honest, when i heard this kumunoy it made me burst in tears, ang bigat niya sa pakiramdam, yung feeling na mas naawa ako sa sarili ko, but I can't help listening to it, despite sa bigat na na feel ko hearing the song makes me sad but his voice somehow brings comfort to my soul how ironic. But i think kahit ang depressing niya hindi ako magsasawa pakinggan kasi i feel like I'm not the only one who has kumunoy moment and seeing pablo now I get to realize he overcome his kumunoy and ako rin, kaya ko din.

Same kaps. Hagulgol ang inabot ko sa song na to... Ironic nga eh, depressing lyrics but comforting. I dunno why. Siguro kasi through this song, alam mong pinagdaanan din to ng iba, and look at them now. Tsk. Actually after hearinf this song kahit mugto yung mata ko, nabawasan yung pasanin at naintindihan ko na din na 'ah, andito pala ako sa kumunoy part ng buhay,pero kakayanin" . Then Boom!!!!! Quarantine is no longer depressing hahahaha

If I'm not mistaken there are three versions of ikako: 1. First ver (no rap no bridge) w/ MV 2. Sec. ver (w/ rap) 3. Third ver (w/ rap and bridge)

Ikako's melody was composed by Pablo.. He wrote and composed it for 5 days. Kumunoy is my fave unreleased songs of Pablo... Pag inaatake ako ng anxiety at depression pinapakinggan ko un..ung feeling naiiyak ka pero parang may kasama ka sa kalungkutan mo

I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. When I first heard kumunoy without the redemption part. It didn't triggered me. It's actually comfort. A song that understands you, listens and embrace you. Idk. Maybe it's just me. I also listen to NF. Pablo's favorite artist and he also discuss mental awareness.

Same exp. I first heard kumunoy without the redemption part too when I was in a very very dark place and it comforted me, like there's someone holding your hands and as you said, understands you. It translates what I am feeling that time perfectly. God knows that that song and kelan were my crying buddies then ikako was the finishing act that will pat your back. Ps. I also love NF 🥺

Sobrang taas din ng respeto ko kay Sejun as an artist. Aside from being a great singer and rapper, matalino sya sumulat ng kanta. Magaling yung wordplay and kaya nya sumulat ng light sa feeling yung lyrics, and kaya din nya gumawa ng sobrang lalim. For me, uncommon ang magagaling sumulat ng kanta na makakarelate talaga yung nakikinig, yung feeling na hindi pilit na basta lang sumulat. Basta hirap i-explain. haha

For me, true that the lyrics are too dark and triggerring talaga. But I that’s one of the reason why I still listen to this. This makes me think and realize na it’s not just me who feels that way. There’s a bit of assurance na it’s okay to feel that way, and at the end you’ll eventually get out of your own Kumunoy. You just need to accept that you’re in it, then you’ll know how will you get out of it. May need attempt several times, but still keep going you’ll eventually free yourself. 💙

Wala pa po kasi silang gawa sa mismong recording studio. Kasi sa music video po cellphone lang po gamit nial except kay sejun na may equipment naman kahit pa paano. Yung instrumental na naririnig niyo, si Sejun po gumawa lahat nyan with the help of some of his siblings :))

Malaki talaga ang tiwala ng ShowBT sa SB19 and it’s very evident naman. Makikita natin kung gaano ka hands-on ang SB19 sa mga activities nila, yes di lang sa music nila kundi sa mismong activities nila. Kung tutuusin napaka swerte ng ShowBT dahil SB19 always takes the initiative to do things by themselves pero SB19 is also lucky to have a company like ShowBT na sobrang laking suporta at tiwala ang binibigay lagi sakanila.

There is actually a redemption part ang song ng Kumunoy, ung bridge part, I suggest that you watch his fancam during there GITZ concert when he sang Kumunoy, sobrang ganda po nung bridge part its not depressing, it goes "oohhh ohhh oh, kinakailangan ko ng tulong mo, Pasensya nat nakalimutan ko na Lagi lang kayong nariyan sa aking tabi Pamilya't kaibigan na nagmamahal at nagsisilbi....." Tho some parts are cut off kac umiyak na habang nagpeperform, sobrang nakakatouch and ganda po ng song nya

Sobrang taas ng respeto ko sa mga songwriter, composer and lyricist. Kasi not everyone can do that. Kaya madalas mas nafa-fall in love ako sa song dahil sa lyrics at melody. Laging runner up lang yung kung sinoman ang kumanta or yung boses ng kumanta. I used to be a songwriter back in highschool and college days. So siguro malaking factor yun why Im a fan of a person behind the songs that I love. Kaya nga sana dito sa Pinas, mag invest ang music industry sa paghahanap ng songwriters. Napakarami jan, hindi lang nadidiscover pero ang dami na nilang compositions pero nakatago sa baul.

Idk pero everytime napapakinggan ko yung kumunoy naiiyak ako palagi. This is my favorite song na kinompose ni Sejun. Ramdam na ramdam ko yung nararamdaman nya habang sinusulat nya to, yung struggles and hardships na pinagdaanan nya para makarating kung nasaan man siya ngayon. For me na napakinggan to after ko sila e-stan, it makes me stronger and mas lalo akong namomotivate kasi alam ko just like him meron talaga tayong "kumunoy" pero nilabanan nya yon and look at him now. Na kahit pala ganiyan si Sejun kasuccessful ngayon katulad din naten siya, merong kumunoy sa puso at some point of his life and if he succeeded overcoming his own kumunoy then I can too.
