English is not their mother tongue. Perfect english doesn't even exist man, they have nothing to fix. They're pretty good in speaking english actually, there will be the time when they will be confident and comfortable enough with these interviews, so they can express themselves even better. For now it's good enough to carry out a lively and positively flowing interactions with these interviewers.

yeah. you're right even those Americans out there use informal ways to speak english they even have wrong grammar sometimes but they don't care. they just don't care Because having a grammatical error is normal to everyone and it's not actually a big deal being grammatically wrong it's just that people are giving so much pressure on it that even the slightest mistake will have a great impact to them that isn't really necessary.

Let’s appreciate how they’re still funny even in English! I think that’s what’s unique about us Filipinos. We may not have a lot of confidence speaking English, but we really try our best. The English language transforms from one culture to another. There is no one English that is correct. The goal is not to speak and act like Americans, the goal is to communicate and express ourselves through the lens of our our own Filipino culture. #DamingHanash kakaproud these boys!

I love it when they speak english. We know they don't have spontaneous English speaking skills since they don't use it for daily conversation but they have no problem expressing themselves with it. They could construct their sentences but they run out of words or they get that what-you-call-it-in-english pauses, and that's normal for non-daily English speakers.

Josh and Sejun were both call center agents before their debut and I guess they speak fluent English. Meanwhile , Stell ,Ja and Ken are only shy but you can see that they can communicate well as well with the language . English is one of our main language and we have our own standard of speaking called Filipino English as long as we can understand and speak that's enough already .

Recently I've got into Piony Bl Series and I have to say almost all the actors are damn good at English and I know it's the country's 2nd official language and all so It's surprising for me to see SB19 boys struggle using the language! My question is: So Not all the Philippines people are good at English? I've legit thought it's like America or England in case of frequency of English language. Also thank you for making this! Not like in America or England we don't use it in our everyday life, though we use some english words unconciously mixed with our language like taglish "tagalog and English", it is true not every Filipino is really good with english some are just good with writing but not with speaking (like me) and some can only understand english, you can rarely meet who doesn't understand English since it has been thought since elementary.

I myself is conscious when i speak my second language. But then I realised that language is for communication, so its goal is actually to communicate, express, and be understood. As long as you did expressed and let your fellows understand what you're trying to say, I guess that's what's important. SB19 you're so adorable! Keep it up! They're actually fluent but given that English is not their mother tongue, things like these could happen. For someone who have to use English as a medium at work, I also tend to blabber HAHAHAHA Oh, I must add that SB19 being like this makes me love them more. So relatable and never pretentious

I actually admire them kasi tho hindi nila minsan maexpress kung ano ang gusto nilang sabihin, they're still trying to make it good kahit mej nararamdaman nilang medyo sumasablay na ng konti dahil sa pressure na rin.
