WHERE IS NEPHI FROM?
I am Nephi Acaling. I am native to Bacolod City in the Philippines but I have been moving and living in different countries due to the nature of my work. I’ve lived in countries like Singapore, Japan and the US due to job assignments. I was in the US when I started this channel but I am currently in Indonesia thus the confusion to some where I am truly based.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Former band vocalist of Akita performing at K-Pub in Ayala Cebu, Philippines (2019-2020)
Former band vocalist of Big Three Band performing in Yokohama 7, Yokohama, Japan (2014-2016).
Former member of the Filipino Voice Symphony (2010-2011) where I was taught by professional chorale singers (e.g. former soprano from UP Madrigal Singers). Our singing group actually bagged the Gold Medal in the International A cappella Championships held in Singapore in 2011.
Former university choir and singing trainer at Technological University of the Philippines Visayas.
WHAT IS THE GREATER GOAL?
My mission is to promote music among different regions and try to make people from different countries relate to each other through music and singing. I have always believed that even small gestures in understanding similarities and differences towards others actually lead to greater awareness about countries and their people.
In this modern world full of things that divide humanity, it is but perfect to put efforts in re-uniting and building bridges among all of us.

This is why i preffer watching to reactors who are Artists themselves because they can really appreciate and understand whats going on.. Remember the playful way we Filipinos reply to a friend when asked "What?" They reply: "Watawat." (flag) Idk but I think that Pablo drew the title of this song from that. Pablo likes playing with words to give titles to their songs . "Ikako" does not exist in the dictionary but Pablo used it to mean "Ikaw at Ako". "Tilaluha" is neither in the dictionary yet it is meant to say "Tila, luha" (Cease, tears!). "Love Goes" was given the name LG referring to "Elegy". So I guess the original title of their latest song could be "Watawat" but Pablo turned it to "What" and added a question mark to say "Which is your flag?"

at last, there's one who recognized the "katipuneros" vibe with what the backup dancers were wearing & yes in this case the boys are portraying "Heneral" the one charging forward & start a revolution of some kind and in Sb19's case revolutionizing the music scene in PH. FUN FACT: Did you know that Pablo, the leader, wants the chorus of the song to sound like Queen's "We Will Rock You?" What's interesting is that both of them are amazing leaders of the band, the late Freddie Mercury of Queen and Pablo of SB19! Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and SB19's What? both songs with different genres on them! at first, you cant identify the genre of the song because it's mixed with spices (different genres) both Freddie and Pablo were music geniuses and born under a sign of VIRGO! They share the same vibe of music that runs in their blood.

What? is the title bec. it was came from the playful word of "Watawat!" means "Flag" in english and from the lyrics itself, like for example "Bawat banat, iwagayway mo ang watawat" It's not only the flag of the Philippines they are talking. it's also refer to everyone, our individual flag as well! "What?" bec. it also asking a question what flag are you holding on or what flag are you being proud of! That was the reason why they also used question mark as a symbol!
