You can activate a setting in the track blueprint which lets you use a golden spike to make the track go wherever you want to, any turn radius or curve. And using rail bed and rail bed fill options automatically places blocks underneath the track.

I do personally recommend making your railway's slopes a bit longer, since longer slopes are easier to climb and descend without accelerating to takeoff speed or slowing to a stop

17:17 you can right click the transformer (NOT the HV transformer) onto the sides of WOODEN posts (other types of posts do not work) and it will shrink down and look nicer, while retaining full functionality. It saves you from having to dump it on the top of the post, having it look ugly.

So I've been playing this mod pack for about 40-50 in game days now and I really like it. It's very challenging at first but becomes progressively easier as time passes on. The only bug I have encountered is that it constantly rains in my world for whatever reason. My guess is that it has something to do with the weather mod. The only thing I'd like to see/have in it is the building gadget mod as I plan on building Era specific towns which that would make way easier. All in all a solid mod pack Edit: I found another bug. When pregenerating a world having not played in it before it doesn't generate the ores it just has stone everywhere

If you had so much trouble with oil production, why didn't you switch to using biodiesel? It might not be that fast to produce, but at least you don't run out of it

You can craft the capacitor bank with the chestplate to combine them, then just put the chestplate back in the crafting grid to uncombine them.

I would recommend trying to get water filtration up and running so you can use less water than you already do, as well as making a "pollution recapture system" that is basically a bunch of vents that will redirect pollution that has escaped into the sky (or that gets around the vents) back into the vents until it properly gets filtered.

I would love to see you try and grab some core samples from the Various Desert Biomes around the World because usually Oil will be about as Prevalent in Desert Biomes (IRL of course) as Gold Veins will be in a Mesa/Badlands Biome. If you do manage to find an Extremely Large Chunk of Oil in a Desert Biome, You'll need to set up a Station to Pump and possibly refine the Oil as well as Store it for Transport in Future and You'll need to figure have some way of accomplishing the Latter. For Storing the Oil, I'd suggest building a Few Storage Tanks in a Larger Storage Tank like those you'd find at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (Yes, this would count as "Tank-ception"). Try Building 2 Tanks with 3 Blocks of Space Between them then another 3 Blocks you build 3 Storage Tanks Again 3 Blocks between them and again 3 Blocks and Build 4 Storage Tanks and repeat the Last 2 in reverse order, Build the Pipelines to the Storage Tanks and then build the Larger Storage Tank around the Normal Immersive Engineering Storage Tanks Again 3 Blocks between them. The 3 block space is for Walking around the Tanks for Maintenance though this was just as an example of how you'd might need to build such a Storage System. For Transporting the Oil, You'll need an Oil Tanker possibly like the Tanker Configuration for the Iconic Liberty Ships of World War Two. They also had them as Tank/Motor Vehicle Transporters, Boxed Aircraft Transports and Collier Configurations as well as the Predominant Standard Cargo Configuration in case you're wondering. 18 Tankers were Commissioned into U.S. Navy Service as the Armadillo-class Tankers which carried Aviation Gasoline to all the Different Airfields across the Pacific to keep the Reconnaissance Aircraft Flying out of 56 Tanker Configuration Liberty Ships built. Another Ship that can prove useful in transporting the Oil would be the Cimarron-class Fleet Oilers each ship being able to hold 156,000 Barrels of Oil. To load and Unload the Oil, You'd need to dock the Ship next to an Area where you'd be able to Transfer them safely. In the case of areas that they won't be able to access the Transfer Systems, you might want to have some LCI's act as a Go-Between as they too were built with a Tanker/Oiler Configuration though you might be able to get as far as the Mouth of the River as you'd need enough room for the LCI's to turn around if need be. For the Excavator, I was thinking about using a Hopper Minecart Transfer System to the Crusher. You'd have a Chest for all the Materials collected by the Excavator to be stored being emptied by a Hopper Minecart which would then run along a track to some Hoppers that emptied into some Dispensers. The Dispensers would have a Redstone Pulse Activating them which would have them dump the Ores into the Crusher. Finally, For the Power Grid you could try and Work out some sort of Circuit Breaker Room so that way you won't have to worry too much about having Power drawn from one thing or something. Hope to see this Series go at least as far as 1,800 Days man!

There is something In the immersive engineering and immersive petroleum config that allows you to set the average amount of resource from the excavator and pump jack veins,, and setting it to something less than 0 makes it infinite

You can build a water powered mill that will generate easy electricity for you, plus you can also make a water storage tank to help fuel your locomotive. That might be able to help with your electricity problem a little bit, and ease woes on your engine running out of water, having water storage tanks every couple thousand miles/blocks or so is also a good idea, and it can be hooked to the tracks to fuel the engine.

You can craft a projector from immersive petroleum that you add the engineer's manual to one the page for what you want to build, and it will create a hologram of where you need to place the blocks. Helps so much

The recipe is not bugged you just have to use all the immersiveintel bullet making and the use the packer but place a conver belt on the right side to pack the ammo in the mag

I would suggest watching the ten levels of steam train understanding by a guy nicknamed "hyce" as long as you get 1 level farther than the tutorial videos on the mod you watched got its will be fine, it will probably help with understanding some of the nuance of trains

I love this series! I even downloaded it by myself! When I built a excavator, it didnt work. It was hooked up to a energi source and did gain some IF, but would not work. Please, Sbeev explain how it works and to make it run.

Something that may help save you some time when making track is that trains cut through terrain like a hot knife through butter, so if you just lay long stretches of track when necessary, it’ll get rid of anything obstructing the physical track (except maybe things like water and lava) and you can then just mine out the rest of the terrain using the train itself, at which point you could work on anything else you wanted to do with said tunnel/cutting however you want.

I enjoy watching this, almost enough to manually (survival) building the stuff I need for rail tracks on my Minecolonies/IR/IE modpack, but I’m still too lazy, so I will most likely cheat the trains and tracks in… 😝 I do have a thing for steam locos though! Also, fun fact, you CAN use wood to fire them (I recall first ones did IRL as well), but coal was used in the later steamers, both ships and locos. Then again, how about *charcoal*?

Man, the music playing while you were building hit me with a blast of nostalgia from when I used to play Minecraft on our Wii U. That Wii U, however, doesn't have a working GamePad display, and hasn't been used in maybe a year and a half. That's because I had a bad night's sleep, and got ticked off over something that I didn't know was an accident, which led to me breaking our living room TV with a Wii remote. We're not gettin' another TV. 😑

We need a part 3 of this were he makes the hints like yards, a round house, and more steam trains. Mabey even a diesel locomotive.

If you do another 100 days, maybe try getting lubricators on the diesel generators, don’t know if it would work but it’s worth trying
