This yard was getting out of control. But after knocking on the door multiple times over a few days, I thought I would speak with the neighbor. Turns out, the neighbor is a huge fan of my channel! She told me they have never seen anyone come in or out of the house and their realtor said it was vacant. I tried knocking on it one more time when another neighbor yelled from across the street that it was vacant. So, I got it looking amazing again for the neighborhood!

I think Spencer was the first to post yard care videos, but there are definitely others. He’s the best though. He’s meticulous about sidewalks, driveways, and edging. And he does a great job editing the videos.❤❤❤

@@bothellkenmore tons of trees planted by humans. look at like aerial photos of wichita, you'll see a lot. the second you get further out though it's just tree lines planted around fields.

@@haleighen I have a Black Locust just outside my apt here near Seattle and it has no business being here. I'm near a 100+ year old farm house so perhaps the original homesteaders planted it as the Wiki suggests that Oregon Trail people planted them as they moved along.

Spencer, you are amazing! Every homeowner on that street owes you for improving the appearance of their block! I got wore out watching you, I can’t imagine how tired you must be after a lawn cleanup like this. I had a lawn service for a dozen years. I cringed whenever I started in on some overgrown jungle like this. I just figured, Here comes a repair bill for tearing up something on my mower. After my first few years I was busy enough to turn down cleanups like this. And sorry, but I was never so generous as to do it for free-bills to pay and a family to support. And of course no KZfaq back then to earn something from advertisers! 😁😂👍 Keep it up Spencer, you’re a hero!

You can tell someone took pride in that house and yard earlier. The edging all around, the ornamental grasses, flower pots, trellis, and the furniture on the front porch and patio. Looks so nice now. Great job.

Hi!! Im the neighbor in the video! My husband and i plan on helping keep it up now. He came to our door about a month ago and at that time, we JUST moved in about a week before that. We dont want to call the city because i heard that they add the cost to the property tax at the end of the year for whoever eventually buys the house and thats not fair on them. He did an AMAZING job. Proud to have spencer in our community!!

Alabama here too! I was just thinking if someone knocked on a vacant door in Alabama, 9 times out of 10 I bet the neighbor knows the life story of the house and why it was empty or overgrown and would tell you whether you wanted to hear it or not... but they'd probably mow it themselves too and it wouldn't be overgrown to start with. At least out where I live 🤣

Wow this turned out really great! 🙌 I watch a lot of your videos and have been thinking that I miss a lot of reactions from the house owners (or neighbors in this case). I think it’s a nice thing to see their reactions. Maybe it’s a conscious decision you’re making not to add that but if it isn’t I would love to see more of reactions at then end to round up the videos ❤️ Sort of just know in the neighbors or owners door at the end and say “just letting you know I’m finished now and hope you’ll enjoy seeing this yard like this for a while now” and then see if they goes out and have a look ☺️ It’s just a thought but maybe there are more people who’d like to see more of that too ☺️❤️

This was one of my favorites! I love how you trimmed around the house with the weed wacker and took down the big tree suckers. And the curved edging was really pretty once it got cleaned up.

I am so grateful that you did this. Someone, at some time, loved this property. Maybe now someone will drive by and it will attract them enough to move in.....a house needs to be a home to people!

Another amazing transformation of a vacant property, that maybe the neighbors will be able to help keep up now that it’s under control!? I just always wonder if you’ve ever received calls from the town or city councils where you do this work thanking you for helping clean up these abandoned properties for them? This was a great before and after. The vines on the house and that was by far the scariest back yard. Glad they didn't leave stuff laying in the middle of it could have been bad.
