This house was abandoned and an eyesore for the neighborhood. I drove by it a couple of times before finally deciding to clean it up. I spoke with the neighbor right across the street and she said that the last time she saw anyone even check on the house, it was snowy. That's saying a lot as it was 106 F when I was there.

For anyone who saying 'oh what is the point?', the point is that this man here is making his town a better place. Judging by this video the city is not doing its job and not a single neighborhood is willing to sacrifice their own time to make their neighborhood a better place. This man did. Private property laws too. Should anything happen on the property and damage it, it’s the city who then goes to court. There’s also some pretty nasty people who would sue them over anything. Best not even get involved and allow every property owner to do what they believe is best. Even if it’s just properties like this, people will do what they can to get money from the city. This happens in court with basic small businesses too so you know it’ll happen if there’s a chance to sue the city.
