I'm pretty sure it has the ship parking mini game because this is a remake (or re-imagining) of an incredibly old game I played as a kid, which also had it.

Oh, interesting! A quick search and this post seems to suggest you're right. It's "Ports of Call" from the old Amiga: steamcommunity.com/app/289930/discussions/0/613937943174482156/
