Honestly I feel like he'd have an equally hard time. Of course American women would love his muscles and tan skin, but he spends a crazy amount of time at the gym, there comes a point where the woman might want to spend more quality time but he's so stubborn about it he doesn't want to. Not to mention if they want kids he can't spend as much time at the gym. Korean women seem to like him and his personality it's literally just that he spends too much time at the gym and he seems determined to find someone that conforms to that instead of just spending more time with his partner. Same for heechul. They're helpless if they can't learn to let go a bit.

Exactly my thought. But you always have to learn it the hard way. When someone asking to borrow money, they usually pick the soft hearted ones first. I learned it the hard way too. I got my money back after asking multiple times, they gave me back with the complain you didn’t have to tell your mom (it was the allowance my mom gave me for 1 semester in college)

Huh? It wasn't that she was trying to get him to break a promise. She broke up with him bc he spends too much time gaming instead of with her. And his reaction was totally nonchalant as if it didn't bother him at all that a girl he was dating had lost interest. The game with the 25 ppl was probably a last straw bc he's willing to plan weeks in advance to game with strangers but won't look out for his gf. The second you agree to date someone romantically and be in a committed relationship, you're making a promise to care about them and their feelings and make them an important part of your life. If he was making her feel insignificant compared to gaming then it's no wonder she broke up with him. It's really sad and disappointing that his reaction to it was very nonchalant as of it didn't matter. Tbh that scene made me think of Momo bc I feel like she probably would've went through the same feelings.

There's even an episode where sangmin was grateful for having jaehoon as a friend because when he was sick before and news got out that he was dying(fake news because he was recovering), he went to the hospital and cried and begged the doctor to save him. Eventually, that touching moment became an embarrassing story, but you'll realize their friendship is genuine. Please don't pass judgment on him based on a couple of clips; it's all part of their banter.

When he started kshow fully again, he used to v a dejected look when it’s mentioned but now its more embarrassed. Its hard to create a new character in Korea variety. I have the same sight with you, but I guess that’s how Sangmin has been survived in that industry. I do really hate the idea that ppl make fun of it. But the fact that Sangmin doesn’t make it a big deal, gets along with the other cast for over years, and still on this program, mean ppl are entertained by this kind of stuff…

Sang min is making a lot of money,his first apartment in the show is very different from this last luxury house.....he is not struggling at all,he has an expensive collection of shoes, and is still buying luxury brands fron hats to pants!!! If he doesn't mind it it's because it's a character for him but reality is there is people in his situation and believe me for working with situation like his I know the struggle behind it, they don't live in expensive houses and own luxury items!! They r struggling in real life and here this cast keep making fun of a situation which is not that funny.....I do read Korean and the comments under his video r mostly negative......Korean don't like him and they r the ones saying that he is an hypocrite for living in luxury eating expensively and yet still go everywhere acting like he is poor. He will be dragged because he is a celebrity with a lot of money acting like his situation is irreversible and will be forever in debt of others.

Actually its good tat they bring up these things. 1) To teach ppl not to be in debt. 2) Telling those who borrowed money from sangmin to return his money. Its a reminder to them. They shld return him his money ASAP. 3) Looking up to Sangmin as a good example: How to bounce back after a failure. He is a great guy, always taking care of others. But he needs to protect himself too. Although i do feel sad for him everytime they bring up his debts n divorce. But this is just how they communicate.
