When you’re big and strong, attacking too early while not breathing cause too much carbon dioxide to build up in your muscles, strategic attacks along with defense is the best way to win a fight. The skinny guy was just chillin, and waited out until it was his time to do what he was waiting for.

@tipoftheiceberg70342 жыл бұрын
Please don't call that dude skinny. One was a genetic FREAK. The other guy is buffer than most men I've ever seen in four different towns
@Lpj42 жыл бұрын
Correct but not breathing or not breathing correctly starves your muscles of oxygen and nutrients causing gas out as well. Glucose is what gives the energy and without adequate oxygen is becomes lactic acid and goes into the bloodstream which will deplete energy fast and near impossible to get it back during the fight. It affects organs too. Crazy how important that is so glad you brought it up. The best was and For maximum energy it should come from diaphragm with sharp forceful burst of air through your nose. Most don’t know that.
@hybriddude0072 жыл бұрын
@@Lpj4 lactid acid buildup, you’re right! Yes it is so important! Also strategic timing of attacks, correct breathing (burst of air through every strike), greatly increases the probability of success
@Lpj42 жыл бұрын
@@hybriddude007 exactly. And like you said, the bigger you are with more muscle mass it’s wise to not just swing like crazy. Putting out way more energy than can be restored fast enough. I think he may have been holding his breath some and was going way to fast. Which is why he was bent over. That’s why I crack up when people automatically think the bigger guy will win. Doesn’t mean he has more power either. Correct breathing and knowing how to throw can generate more power than muscle mass. Look at bad news, prime example.

When I was young I loved to lift weights and had pretty good muscle mass and I taught I was very strong, till an older guy put me in my place by out lifting me in every lift... bench press, curls, leg press, squats, and overhead presses. The guy had no huge muscles like me, but what he had was mature strength which beats mass any time. He even told me, "you can have all the muscles as a young man, but an older man without much muscles but has mature muscle fibers will most likely be stronger than a muscled guy". 20 years later, I now pass down to young guys.

@@jxmmifit7721 Train with a mouthpiece in and an elevation mask on brother. You have so much muscle and that muscle requires oxygen and blood which is making you gas quickly. You're a powerhouse, if you get some technical training in I feel sorry for your next opponent! Ashraf had the technical upper hand on you, he kept you away with that lighting fast jab and that set him up to drop bigger hits. You held your own though! Keep training and showing skill, that's what this is all about bro. Looking forward to watching you fight again. Respect!

Protect yourself at all times! If he’s gassed out and the Ref hasn’t stepped in, then move in and finish him off. If he doesn’t raise his hands up to protect himself its on him. That is why before EVERY boxing match you’ll hear the Ref say the last words “ Protect yourself at ALL times.” It is The most fundamental rule of boxing. Young and strong doesn’t necessarily give you the right to step into the ring. Its ability, experience, and understanding of the fundamentals that gives you that right. Jxmmi Fit is obviously a strong boy, but he lacks the endurance of a boxer and none of his wild, fast punches had no power behind them because he landed some good shots on Ashraf to his head and didn’t slow him up or shake him, let alone knock him out. Jxmmi needs to learn to put some torque into those punches by using more twist from the waist rather than just throwing big arms around. Overall they’re still young, they can still improve their game with good coaching on the fundamentals.

Drop some muscle or do more conditioning, muscles gas out with lactic acid real quick! I know from experience! My first fight I was gassed, plus you get a thing called adrenaline dump. I use to weigh 230 only 5 foot 9, I weight about 180 last fight. Also a lot of bodybuilding teaches you bad muscle patterns, your shoulders start to burn, you can't recoil quick cause bicep training is bad for putting your arms back up for guard. I would do only calisthenics, simple building exercises specially if you got good genetics to build muscle already, like push-ups, pull up, squats, and hiit movements, everything compound movements. I think you lost only cause of your bodies limitations. This is coming from a guy who ise to train only to look good

If this fight doesn't prove that big muscles aren't substitutes for knowing how to fight, then nothing will lol. Those wild swings and flurries just gassed him, and his defense to dip down was a bad habit that he acknowledged mid fight but wasn't trained enough to switch up on the fly. Great fight, respect to both fighters

Great fight !! At first you thought there was a clear favorite when you look at their physiques, (the fighter with the white gloves looks impressive) and he did somewhat prove it in the first few exchanges. Then, like two mismatched gladiators, playing a chess match with their fists, they dueled each other until the end. I am hooked on this channel now, but I do know that other fights will have a difficult time topping this one.

Ashraf showed A LOT of sportsmanship. I think they should've called the fight in the second and last rounds because Jimmie wasn't defending himself due to faitgue. I would've called that a TKO. Ashraf could've easily set up a combo to land a nasty hard blow to try to finish the fight. I feel like he was being empathetic. With the shots that Jimmie was throwing tho lol, they were so aggressive I would've personally felt the need to reciprocate. Good show

Nahhhh I would’ve def fought harder if he did anything crazy.

@@jxmmifit7721 You’re a head hunter with your shots. A lot of power and aggression with ill intent lol. And there’s nothing wrong with that . And I’m not saying to throw sparring shots but we know when you’re trying take a mf head off vs a check jab or counter. No problems with it either. I think Ashraf didn’t have the same energy as far as trying to knock your block off tho. Y’all just have different fight demeanor. You left yourself open for some ko potential shots when you gassed out. You weren’t defending yourself essentially. You’d have to have a cranium of steel to take the kind of head shots you were open to. Ashraf went more for body shots when you were becoming defenseless. I believe if he were to (or even able to) throw a punch the way you were in your offensive flurries, you would’ve been technically knocked out. That’s all respect to the power behind your shots and aggression, in the same breathe tho you gotta defend yourself better when you’re fatigued. A more aggressive puncher could hurt you in the positions the ref left you in. Good fight tho bro, nothing but respect. Just getting better

@@jxmmifit7721 You caught his ass for sure. Any lick you land is gonna leave some damage. But like everyone is saying you gotta do better with pacing. I don’t even think you really have a stamina issue bad like that. You just gotta learn how to pace properly and when to throw those bombs. No matter how you slice it, you’re not gonna put more out in any way if the gas tank is empty. When it’s done, it’s DONE bro. Your tank was empty (and it wasn’t, you gotta guard better). But hey, 0-0 that’s usually the first thing to fix anyway so you solid.

@@justgrowmusic I hear you bro but fr I was gassed in the 1st and was still able to throw bombs and spurts. I watch the video all the time, I could’ve went harder in the 2nd and 3rd. But yea first fight I didn’t even throw an uppercut 🤣 I got some work to do!
