I had to drill out the retraining bolt, under the carbon fibre. I used a dremel with oval stone head (sorry not sure which one). Make sure you wear gloves and eye protection (mask also if you want) because the carbon shards are very sharp. The bolt didn't release right away, so then I used a flathead and hammer to "cut" the bolt. After, I turned the muffler upside down and used a wooden stick to bang out the db (it's in there tight). But it sounds good and was worth it, also the angle of the hole doesn't show really, because it's angled away. Good luck!

It's almost unbearable without Db killer. I did a 2hr ride once and that was it, no more. Other riders were passing me because they couldn't stand the noise from behind lol. My personal opinion Db killer out + cat is the perfect noise level. Db + cat is too quite. My current is Db + no cat and it's loud...but tolerable.

Good question, not enough to notice and change. It's almost unbearable without the db though.
