Another AMAZING video! I'm 55 years old, been working in concrete construction for 33 years and still love the actual work but of course hate the daily bs that goes with it. If I could have seen this video when I was 16 and know what I now know I would have taken a much different career path. It's too late to change horses now so thank you for letting me live my dream job thru your videos!

When the tree fall it seems to split, wouldn't it render it useless for boards. Or is there a different product thats made from it?

No Riparian zone for that creek where you mention the culvert ribbon?
@BjarneButler
@BjarneButler 3 жыл бұрын
Yes there is a riparian zone along the creek, which I think would be called a river because it’s at the valley bottom?

@@BjarneButler hell if I'd remember ..we weren't allowed to dump anything remotely close to anything that even looked like a frog humped in it, let alone a fish swam by a 100 yrs ago. I'm being smart..cant remember specs on the rip zone anymore...just from the video angle looked like that fatty blasted right over the top of it..I wasnt there and it's just a question and youd be far better in the know than I would these days sir. Slick cuts by the way man. High caliber. Log it burn it pave it

@BjarneButler

You clearly know nothing about logging or falling old growth, especially on the coast. In the first 30seconds of the video I said twice that I was on right-a-way. That means a road is going to be built, following the center line that I clearly point out. Also I point out that the tree saved out about 2/3 before the first break, for a 180ft 6ft tree on uneven ground on a slope in the snow,.The top of that tree is hitting the ground with tremendous force, it’s the norm to have a break near the top especially in uneven ground. The tree was near solid at the butt how do you come to the conclusion that it is worthless? Go ahead explain that to me. And amateur? Been falling wood like this for over 14years so explain to me what an expert would do. Or better yet make a video yourself and show me or are you just a KZfaq falling expert? I’m eagerly waiting to hear your expert falling wisdom.
