You could automate the process more with vacuum pumps: they can place blocks. Not sure if it is a critical thing, but it exists.

Scrapman, connect a vacuum pump to the storage chests and have it running all the time so it doesn't run out. I have this in my base and it's very helpful. You can also put a cap on the amount of water it can take in (maybe a pulse extender) to put a cap on the number of times the craftbot can craft. If you don’t want to make a new vacuum pump (although it is very cheap) you can connect it to your existing watering system and put some chests in between to make the watering containers higher priority than the crafting container.

What he didn't know is that you can dispense blocks meaning, with the proper setup, you can detect when a block is removed and add it back, but instead of having a big pillar he can have a chest full of all the blocks he'd need that he can refill anytime with ease. Btw I haven't watched the vid yet so idk what he did.

You can use the vacaum pump to dispence blocks. You need the blocks to be in a chest connected to the vacaum pump. You could use timers to make a automatic food dispencer for glowbugs!

I've been finding that tearing apart abandoned shops is really good for getting lots and lots of wood quickly. granted finding them probably takes more time than tearing down trees. but you can easily get 1000+ wood and net blocks from a shop and a car drives just fine on both so. wood around the outside, bit of meshy block stuff in the middle looks really cool.

You can use vacuum pumps to place blocks, so set up timers to replenish the glowbugs food every day so they don't despawn

Hey ScrapMan. I think the best way to feed the glowbs (Their official name is Glowb) would be to have a vacuum pump placing cardboard blocks from a chest. You would connect this to a logic loop at maybe 1 block every minute.
