Also to add? The Tamiya glue, the square bottle? You have tape around it to prevent tipping over? I sometimes also use Plastruct, which comes in a round bottle. To prevent accidental tip-overs I cut a piece of styrofoam as a base. NO tipping and spillage that way.

Hi, Bob. Great tutorial as always. Question for you: what is the best way to soften/dissolve old dried model glue (such as Testors thick tube glue) from previously built models without damaging the plastic? Once in a while I'll find a good deal on an older, discontinued kit that someone has started and given up on, and I may need to separate parts in order to detail them and re-assemble. Thanks in advance for your help! 😄👍

The only time I used enamels over acrylics was a disaster, with paint eaten away. How did you get that to work please? Did you seal with clear coat perhaps?

I cannot stop gushing...when I build, I only wear gloves if I am concerned about oils from my fingertips. A bit of paint on my fingers? No problem. Since I was a pre-teen I have worked with paints and solvents. So far I have no drain bramage...(sorry, tiny joke). To be honest, not everyone is the same. IF you (reading this) are likely to be prone to injury from chemicals? Then by all means wear gloves and protective gear. OK....signing OUT!!
