May I ask, why do you mix black paint with the spackle glue mixture, and then prime it white? Couldn't you just use it without the black paint, then just prime it white after it dries?

I'm slightly confused ... Where was the chocolate brown? ... Jokes aside, they look great, I keep saying it but that spackle mix is spot on. I painted my brown and drybrushed with brown/ tan as normal, but then hit it with some deep green and it came out like a mossy forest floor - in case you haven't tried that yet 😉

I ate all my chocolate brown paint so this is all I had left! Interesting technique! It's good to hear you're experimenting with using the paste! You should send some pictures! I would love to see it!

For the texture paste I used Elmer's School Glue, DAP DryDEX Spackle and Higgins Black ink. Let me know if you need anything else!

This is great! Please can we have a video on replicating the look of the Necron green rods but with paint on the new ones? A challenge but I'm sure you can do it!
