Great info thanks, my provider is costing me €1800 for the complete job, thats about £1500 ... do you think that's about right?

I think it’s a fair price for a good artist. Remember this is a permanent procedure on your scalp and so it’s important to get it right the first. If your artist is producing great work and you’re happy with his previous Scalp Micropigmentation results, €1800 is well worth it in my opinion.

@@lukethedrifter100 I would have thought it's entirely dependent on the severety of the baldness, ie Norwood 7 being the most expensive. 1500 euro for 3 sessions is a very good price. Can if this is for Norwood 7 though ?

£1500 you can get a hair transplant in Turkey with that money

True, but then how many of those £1500 hair transplants will you need if the first one doesn’t work out as expected? We’ve treated people who have had 3 hair transplants and still the hair fell out leaving them with no hair, a dent in their bank balance and huge scars. SMP is guaranteed to work whereas hair transplants are not.

0:17 news say it's the guy from Vietnam who shaved his head and then tattooed it black so that his wife won't find out he shaved it, but she obviously did. To me it sounds like the story is made up but in any case such a tattoo is obviously an intended design, it's not like its smp gone wrong. I mean people do all kinds of tattoos, including scalp tattoos, and to tattoo your scalp pitch black is not really that crazy. It can actually look cool but obviously people will know it's a tattoo. It's just if you tattoo your scalp may as well tattoo some beautiful design, not just pitch black.

Yes I used this guy as an example but there are many examples out there of SMP gone wrong. When Scalp Micropigmentation is performed correctly it will look like a full shaven head of hair not like a dark tattooed head.
