In this video we gave a brief rundown of our experience with trading CME micro equity products for 2 years. We shared some stuff we wish we knew earlier so maybe it could help someone out there. We aimed to figure out how much micros are actually costing you and the impact it can have on your success. We concluded that the micros are still scalp-able but under certain conditions and with very strict trade management principles. There are competitors to the CME like Small Exchange which tend to have lower round turn fees relative to the tick value of each product. In comparison the round turn fees on CME micros tend to be between 70-165% of a 1 tick value. Trading less seems to be more when it comes to CME Micros.
