I don't really do the safety entry unless there is a lot of confluence. I was always a level trader and so as I incorporated the hybrid into my trading I still focus on horizontal levels to add more confluence. The old PVSRA system (the dragon) is great for scalping, but knowing where you are in terms of level counts (MMM) and horizontals is very powerful when combined. From my studies Tinos hybrid system works in tandem as such. btmm is used on reversal entries based off market structure time, and session , quarter theory is the levels and Pvsra is trading trend with volume. This is where I am currently with understanding the hybrid I too have been following tino 2-3 years on and off

In general it is true, but you can have vector candles at the beginning of reversals off a peak formation which is initiated by the MM. Often this happens when you see the last push, for example a green vector candle topping off a peak formation and price quickly rips down on a red vector. This is why understanding what level you are in is important. Scalping has a little more nuance to it in my experience. Trading the m1 0r m3 is a perfect time to counter trade the MM. As he is building positions, ride along and expect the reversal at according level. I'm not sure how I contradicted Tino, I will watch the video and see if pick up on it, I might have misspoken.

Thats the theory yes, but like Tino says its not 'if' they come back to the vectors its 'when' and MM can be as irrational as they like and take weeks / months before coming back to zones. I personally take vector breaks in the direction of the colour, for example a red vector breaking through the 50 after a peak formation or a retrace continuation. As this is what Tino has described as 'riding the coat tails of the MM'. I prefer to trade this way as its visually much easier for me I just wait for clear patterns and the obvious colour change of the candle. But on the other hand depending on your personality you could build positions alongside the MM, so build shorts on green candles etc. Thing is though, how long can you withstand the drawdown on the positions your building? There is so many ways to trade the hybrid, its really about learning it, testing it and seeing what fits to your personality type.
