Blue Period is the closest thing to the feeling of being an artist that I've seen represented in anime. It's absolutely genius how different scenes and shots all encapsulate what Yaguchi is feeling, and how surprisingly, you can relate to it.

Blue Period scares me, because I relate to the main character. In no way am I a prodigy, but I've been able to accomplish most things by putting in time, effort or pretending to fit. But I've never found anything that excites me. I keep trying new things and expanding my horizons, but there is nothing I want to dedicate my life or time to. My parter is easily excitable, I surprised her with a bottle of freshly squeezed juice for her to take to work the other day, and she basically danced out the door. When we first met, I thought she was putting on an act to show me she appreciated the effort I put in to make her happy, but she just genuinely is a bubbly excitable person. It both makes me happy and sad, happy she enjoys life so much, sad that I have no idea how to do more than pretend to be excited. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy and content, just at a loss when it comes to extremes in emotions.

I hope the reason Ousama Ranking isn't in this video is because you're making a separate video on it. Every episode makes me want to cry.

I read Blue Period when you recommended it way back when. Best decision I made. It gets to the nitty gritty parts of art that people in the industry seldom talk about and reveals that art is not as "easy" as it looks. I hope the production team follows through, more people need to experience Blue Period.

Blue period is easliy anime of the season, possibly anime of the year and after reading the manga I seriously can't believe how good it actually is. It somehow captures the essence of passion, hard work, doubt, talent, the fear of failure, everything that anyone with a passion has dealt with more beutifully than any other anime or manga I've seen. I loved the first season and that part of the manga but it seriously grows to a new level after that. Sakurasou is one of my favorite anime of all time and I've never really seen a show that does what Sakurasou does until I read Blue period. They're not really the same type of show and they explore a lot of different things but I related with the main characters in similiar ways. Trying is hard, it's scary, but when you don't try the world is grey and still. Trying is like jumping from a cliff in hopes of learning to fly before hitting the ground. It's terrifying, but learning to fly is the only thing really worth living for, and after reading blue period so far, I'll take that jump any day. No matter how little talent I have, no matter how slim my chances, I'll keep on trying.

I care about what Kendrick thinks too, but I’ll be damned if I’m gunna miss out on Komi mainly because I have crippling social anxiety and it feels like it’d be cathartic to watch.

so the thing about Assclass season 2 being rated higher than other shows like Mob Psycho has to do with the new season biases. People who didn't enjoy the first seasons likely wouldn't go on to watch the later ones, so each new season has an easier time getting higher and higher ratings because it's mostly only the people who enjoy it watching and rating.

Blue Period is the most accurate depiction of a late blooming artist. There were times in the manga(and now in the anime) where I felt so compassionate towards the MC(Yatora). I'd believe it if this is an autobiography.

Honestly, I prefere Blue Period manga because it captures more the emotions and struggles that characters face. I feel like the animation of the anime is a bit weird, and the producers may have cut/rushed too many scenes that I think are important for the context in order to be fully emerged in the story and to be attached with the characters.

If you like realistic mecha shows or military science fiction, then you definitely shouldn't miss out on 86 this season. The story and concepts are interesting, the action is amazing, the characters are really well-written, the animation is absolutely top-quality, and the overall tone is satisfyingly serious and grounded.

At this point, I just look at the posters for the seasonal anime line-up, find the one that will be the most memorable show that's never going to get a second season, and have that be the only new thing I watch. Even if there are better shows out, when it comes to recent ones I already know I'll forget about them sooner or later, so why not have the most unique experience instead? In Spring, I did that with Odd Taxi. In Summer, it was Sonny Boy. And in Autumn, I'll be watching Heike Monogatari.

The goal that they have been working towards, musically, their entire lives. Their opus; their musically thematic statement on life. An opus is a life's work for a conductor. Thus, Takt: Op. The title is written in musical notation, so that's why no one pronounces it correctly except for the people who, y'know, read the katakana that literally, phonetically sounds it out for you.

I actually watched Blue Period and I want season 2 now. It goes into the art world and the struggles of those who want the eyes of it on them and who want to make a living off of it. Not only that it goes into the struggles of artists from wanting a career out of it to treating it like a entry to another job. It even goes so far as to expose the inner feelings of two artists in the show to the point where they literally paint themselves naked in order to really look at themselves in a new light and self reflection. I cannot tell you how accurate it is to say that BLue Period inspires you to draw anything that comes to mind after you watch it and experience the MC's journey into the art world.
